  hello everyone: i have been away for a while from various forums.

  i saw farkel's recommendation to check out this site at jwd.

  so, here i am.. the issues surrounding pedophiles is taking on momentum, and i just recently learned that my son-in-law's dad (a jw) was arrested for molesting a minor (not a jw).

  I too would like to see the charity provided by the WTS...since you've seen it could you please provide addresses/phone/fax numbers for the following wts run programs?

  Homeless Shelters
  Childrens Services
  Food distribution/pantries
  Handicapped Services
  Safe Houses for WOmen&Children
  Domestic Violence hotlines
  Suicide/mental heath hotlines
  Drug/Alcohol Counseling
  Job Training
  Continuing Education Services
  Day Care
  Family Support Services
  Legal Advocacy
  Medical Services
  Pregnancy/Neonatal Programs
  Budget Counseling
  The charities in my area provide all of the above (and more) regardless of creed,race,etc........(and I've seen these personally in my work).....

  Foot and Mouth Disease Hits my Town.

  jw`s will find their attempts at house to house work severly impeded in the rural county of somerset, england.. this afternoon i was driving back home to weston super mare along the a370.

  as i approached the town i noticed barriers being erected across the junctions to the `b` roads which lead into the countryside.

  across the barriers are signs which read: "foot and mouth disease.

  G'Day Eguy,

  FMD is pretty much global now. France confirmed a case on Tues. Bangladesh has an outbreak. Italy has sealed her borders from animals coming from the EU. Copenhagen has a confirmed 4 cases of BSE.
  Buenes Aires is reporting a case now. Brinkhorst the Minister Of Agriculture(netherlands) is sealing off like Italy......I can go on and on ......they're working on a vaccine......better off to become a vegetarian for the duration of this,,,regards,Tina

  How about India friend?
  Wasn't their license recently withdrawn because they did not carry out charitable works as listed by the govt...to claim tax exemption?
  What is their status in the UK btw? And I'm speaking of charity as the whole world defines it(except jw's) Tina
