excessive worrying creates a strong fear of rejection.. these folks will ignore the self to please others or will display this insecurity by attacking others in order to stay distant and detached.. 2. i must not fail at important tasks,and if i do it's terrible and i can't stand it.. 3.people and things should always turn out the way i want them to-and if they don't it's awful,terrible and horrible,and i can't stand it.. 4.if any of the first 3 bad events happens(if im not liked or respected,if i fail,or if things don't turn out as i'd like-then i'll always blame someone for it!
they acted wrongly,as they should not have done,and they are rotten people for acting in that terrible way!.

okay, by popular demand........here is a photo of my giant turkey from thanksgiving.
stuffed, it weighed 46 pounds, and i had to borrow a commercial sized pan, to put it in.
as you can see, it literally fills my oven, is on the bottom rack (had to take one out) and nearly touches the roof of the oven.

just nice to know that i'm not alone.
i'm truly amazed and had no idea unitil yesterday surfing on a whim i decided to confront my past.
it's a blessing for me and i feel another turning point in my life because now i have lots of people to talk to and i know now that i wasn't and i'm not going crazy and that it's not just me.

there has been a number of threads related to evolution in the last month or so.
some posters, like penn, subscribes to a form of creationism, which i for this purpose will define as denial of large scale evolution (sometimes called macro-evolution).. even saner people sometimes alleges that scientists are unnecessarily 'dogmatic' about evolution, and that this is 'just a theory.
' these people may be recent exjws or jws, still believing the watchtower propaganda against evolutionary science, or accepting similar claims from various fundamentalist preachers and groups.

Yanno what stood out for me? The archaic stilted speech/words they use( I shudder when I think that I did too) I can't think of any 'normal'(non-Jw) who uses these words in evryday speech lol

i saw this on saturday and.... now i am a servant of the dark lord bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!.
... it was very cool.. visually very faithful to the books; eerything looks as it 'should', which is really hard.
the screenplay was an acceptable compromise between the brevity neccesary in converting a book to a film, although one part (the dursley's leaving privett drive to escape the letters and being hunted down by hagrid) was done very badly.. the actors were excellent, and (thank god, nothing against american's, but i object to english stories being americanised for no reason other than american cultural imperialism) an excellent cast of top-quality 'supporting' english, or i should say british (as robbie coltraine is great as hagrid (and big!

what do you think about evolution debates?.
this is not going to be a thread about which theory is correct.
i want to ask the board if anyone has actually found these discussions on evolution to be beneficial to themselves.

I love these debates. They introduce me to scientific concepts I may not be real familiar with,hence a great learning experience!
What I do is print these debates out,so I can give them quality quiet time before bed. I really need to thank you Jan,Abaddon. Are you gentlemen aware of the fact that you have wonderful teaching abilities? I enjoy the point by point breakdowns of certain concepts that have been rather confusing in the past from textbooks I've had.
I should really gather up all my print-outs and create a new folder or book as I call them. have the Book of Norm already,:> and a few other peeps.
Guess this one will be the Book of Jan Rem Abaddon and MC, et al. Thank you so much. I'm really grateful for the time effort and patience put into this! Better than any lectures etc.I had in college!
