Good ideas but the WT will have a hard time to keep away from apostates sites the young ones. When a young person gets curious, they know how to search. But nevertheless if this can works it is a great way to lead people to TTATT.

i was also thinking about all the years that this site was in existence before i stumbled upon it.. i wondered if from now on, if each person making a post on this site, put the words jw.org at the end of the title of their post or somewhere in the body of their post itself, if it would somehow drive those who are looking for jw.org to this site instead?.
for example "what's up with those new literature carts ?

These people have so many different ghost writers that no one can keep up with the plethora of contradictions.
They do the same thing the bible writers did. Write a mountain of errors and contradictions, and then claim their message is of great urgency.
Funny how believers can say the bible is one message, yeah right!?

i think i remember hearing something about an apostate being weeded out of bethel but really couldn't have cared less.
i didn't start getting zealous until a couple of years later.. .

I was 1 year old and my parents had been baptized in 1974. I recall that during 1985 there was still a lot talk about what happened with the inside apostates and how many other JW's in spanish congregations were df'd for apostasy as well. Many rumors of how they wanted to bring the org down and lead us to satan.

I went to one of my previous halls remodel today and they did not recognize me...
by confusedandalone ini definitely look like a worldly person by jw standards... however i went to my old hall because they are remodelling and they are in the final p[hase.
it was not on purpose.
i had bnusiness on the street and happened to drive past.

I wish I can meet you in person one day, your stories are sad but funny at the same time. I have a new hall that was just finished right before the memorial thanks to big J, it is in Riverview. Where is that other hall getting built?

A farce elder here
by His Excellency injust to share a little about me:.
i was recently appointed an elder, about 6 months ago now, and that is exactly two years after my awakenning, but funny that the appointment came also about 2 years after i had completely lost all faith in god and had been leading a full time anti-jw life .
makes you wonder the role of the holy spirit in the entire nomination or appointment process.. .

Why get upset with the new WT donation system? It will still be a success...

it will be a success and no dissenter or closet apostate will be able to stop it.
because although we hate the wt and would love to see them disappear, we cannot forget the ones inside will gladly donate, donate, donate.. just look at other churches!

Just look at other churches! They have managed to keep milking money from people for centuries.

The genius of the new donation arrangement
by thedepressedsoul inive given this new arrangement a lot of detailed thought and how greatly it benefits the wt and how much it puts a strain on each congregation.. first, let me explain how the old arrangement worked.. you had 3 donation boxes in each kingdom hall.
one for worldwide work, one for kingdom hall construction and one for congregation contributions.. the congregation contribution box accounted for about 60-75% of all donations.
the world wide work box probably accounted for 20-30% and the kingdom hall construction for about 5% of the contributions.
