  What stage are you in after leaving or waking up to TTATT?

  i can honestly say that although still in, i have lost the fear of wts dooms day version and in all sincerity i don't care what others inside the cult think of me.

  at first i was mad of being lied to, i was sad that paradise is not coming, and i felt fear of death.

  i happy to report, that i am now at peace with my eventual mortality and i am enjoying every second i have while i am alive.. .

  New Leaflet to give to JW about TTATT

  hi to all my fellows "apostates" in all world... especially in e.u.a.

  and uk.. as some of you already know, ex-jw in portugal created a leaflet especialy to send to jw in all the country (individualy or to congregations).

  we must say that it was a sucess from the point of view of the impact originated.

  i use to hate when people who made goodbye posts on message boards.

  why would they think that just because you no longer post on a chevy truck forum or a los angeles lakers forum the world would crumble around those still left there.

  I know a Chavez family from Lawrence. I don't really know many people in the Boston area, just a handful that are regular publishers. I do know all the big players from the Lawrence area. I am happy I am far away from that place though...

  Hermano, good thing you bumped this. I know many from Lawrence but not much in the JP, Boston area. The sisters in Lawrence look fine and that is why many have gotten df'd due to some hot fornication. Do you know anyone in Lawrence? Do you know the Jacobo's? Come on, share some dirt!!

  talking with a long time elder last night, was very revealing.

  he has been a jw for over 60 years, a man that was incarcerated in cuba in his early 20s and faced great loss and suffering over his beliefs and for being born in a communist country.

  this brave man is now brittle and low-spirited.. while nightfalls on his life, he is made aware the end is near.

  Yep, that is where the idea comes from vidiot. Although my dad thinks that way, I was not quoting my dad. My dad is 64 and thinks he is not going to die before the big A but at the same time he is planning a trip to the social security office and file for his retirement. Ah the irony!

  Misquote in the Creation Book

  my dad came into the jw's because someone studied the "creation" book with him.

  it pains me deeply that he sent me an e-mail recently saying that to keep the peace with my mom, he will stop communicating with me as much as possible.

  i should communicate with him only if i have an emergency.. it upsets me to no end, but i cannot do anything or much about it.
