  This new TV adventure is simply a one way conversation, the GB will never allow debates or any conversation that is against them.

  A slap in the face would be if they had the courage to open up to critique and defend their so called "Truth"

  We can think what we like about this organization - but we did not see this coming. And the organization remains so well hermetically sealed that not a word got out beforehand.

  Not a single word or heads up. Just like with the new bible, no one ever said they had formed a new translating committee and none of us new about it. Yep, the GB have some loyal people working for them.

  i tried to, out of curiosity, watch tv.jw.org this morning.

  i barely could stand to make it seven minutes before i had to quit.. of course there were at least two, maybe three mentions in that short time of the expense incurred and the subtle begging for money to "support" the televangelism effort.

  a time lapse video showed the construction of the tv set.

  up to 13 new songs will be released over time to equal a revised new song book and changes to songs in place due to the new bible.

  the revised song book cover will look like the new bible.

  i've heard about his bombastic, overly patronising, cartoon-ish delivery before, but i'd never actually seen it...until now.

  and i should add, this religion bears little to no relation to the one i left 6 years ago.. .

  More likely the WT spent months, maybe longer planning this, then when everything was assembled and ready to go they simply bolted the parts together, than claim they did it on only two months.

  Probably years and they claim big J helped them out in record time

  why was someone chosen who by any stretch of the imagination would be the last person in the world anyone would want to present jehovah's message on this very peculiar tv .borg.

  i mean the governing body are not showing much sense unless they want to appear totally unlike the run of the mill television preachers if that's the case they didn't have to go to the opposite extreme.

  i try to understand where they are coming from but to chose someone who has the makings of an alien from the planet zod is completely baffling.. how is he giving out credibility to anyone remotely interested in the jws.

  I was asking myself the same thing, where is the charisma, he mumbles, he is terrible at reading the teleprompter and has no business for show business. I forgot how JW's can take a fun activity and turn it into the lamest and most boring event ever. Imagine having JW.TV 24/7 in paradise earth?
