I know the feeling, when I was 14 I contemplated the idea of suicide because the pressure to be a good witness from my dad was too much. Good thing I was able to make the right decision and I chose life over death, now I am in my early 30’s and know TTATT. Just a few more steps before breaking free!!!

They continue to drop like flies
by suavojr inyes, the jws continue to bleed their young ones, so far in my local kh 3 were dfd, one girl just turned 18 this month and packed her bags and said goodbye to the cult and her cultish parents, another young 18 year old man decided to have a non-jw girlfriend and decided to stop attending and is no longer a witness.
they continue to leave and wt leaders dont give a damn.
they dont do anything to help kids be successful and live a healthy life.. .

Yes, the JW’s continue to bleed their young ones, so far in my local KH 3 were DF’d, one girl just turned 18 this month and packed her bags and said goodbye to the cult and her cultish parents, another young 18 year old man decided to have a non-jw girlfriend and decided to stop attending and is no longer a witness. They continue to leave and WT leaders don’t give a damn. They don’t do anything to help kids be successful and live a healthy life.
All you hear is: “Satan got the best of them” YEAH RIGHT!!
The JW’s are just a recycling religion…

Ironic quote in the 5/14wt lesson "Are you moving ahead with Jehovahs Organization"
by BU2B inthe whole article makes me ill with its worse than average mind control.. i was going to only include one quote but there are so many doozies that i will post what i feel to be the worst.. from paragraph 6.
"gods organization survives and flourishes on earth because the people who are part of it have his approval.".
the great tribulation has been "so close" for over 120 years of wt history.

CAPTION COMPETITION !
by Focus innathan h. knorr was the third president of the watchtower society.
he was by mentality a clerk, with a fondness for instructing young male brooklyn bethel inductees as to what was the "right handling" of their genitalia.
it goes without saying he was a liar, a fraud, a hypocrite, a swindler, a conman and a thoroughly evil bastard, and let f.franz perpetrate the great 1975 hoax to boost membership, murdering the hopes of millions of elderly victims while so doing.. joseph f. "judge for 4 days" rutherford was the second president of the watchtower society.

Anyone knows why Knorr was walking with a cane in this picture? Did he always used a cane to walk?

Roll call of those of us stuck in for our spouse or whos spouse is still in!
by BU2B ini just wanted to get a feel for how many here have awakened to ttatt but are still carrying on some jw activities to pacify them and keep the peace.
also trying to hear from those who have left, but whose spouse has stayed in the wt and in the marriage.. for me it comes down to my own mental anguish.
i am mentally tortured by attending the meetings, yet i feel compelled to because my wife would kill me with her personality if i had her drag 2 small girls by herself there.

BU2B said: For me it comes down to my own mental anguish […] I am sensitive to how she feels […]If I am honest with her it will bring out JW momma bear and I will be the target.
If our spouses new how much we truly love them… I love my wife to the extent that I do not care if she wants to stay as a Witness, or become a Baptist, Lutheran, Catholic, or just simply stop believing in these fairy tales. The ONE THING that bothers me is, that just because I don’t share her beliefs I am marked as the enemy, the villain, mentally diseased, crazy, worthless human being, sleazy and an evil traitor of her god and family.
The manipulation of the GB is overwhelming and our families just don’t see it because they don’t want anyone to take away their precious dream of everlasting life in a JW.ORG paradise. I do admit that I used to be the same way, I would have shunned anyone who was labeled an apostate or weak in “The Truth”, that single thought is what helps me keep going and trying to stay calm and never answer with hate or anger when I talk about spurious beliefs.

Giving "Jehovahs spirit" credit for mundane, everyday things!
by BU2B ini am hearing this more and more and it is like nails on a chalkboard.
i hear it from the wt, from elders, from my parents and from jws in general.
this had to be jehovahs spirit!

This is the reason I stopped praying a long time ago. I used my critical thinking skills and understood how cruel it is for me to think that I need God’s help to pay my rent this month, when you have millions of homeless people worldwide.

What JW’s and religious people in general don’t realize, is that when you don’t get what you want or you suffer. Is because your God wants it to be that way.
