In Croatia, too. Visited by the president of the republic.
International book fair in Croatia, even visited by the president of the country.
can there really be any doubt now on how commercial it is?
if you thought the new kh design seemed commercial in nature, now imagine one of those halls turned into a jw store.
we know they exist.

i hear many people on this forum say that kh's don't have windows.
but i have never been to one that didn't have windows.
is this only in a certain area or something?.
I have been in kingdom halls in more than a dozen countries. All had windows. I guess this is mainly a US thing...
judging by the material that my kid brings home on a daily basis in copius amounts.
everything about everything in elementary school goes against the doctrines of the jehovah's witnesses.
how do jw's expect to make any money if all of their kids are defecting the jw's?
Fortunaly homeschooling is more of a USA thing...
boring and useless, a waste of valuable time..
I see many JWs leading a rather full life at the same time being active... So did I when I was in. Visited a lot of countries, read many books, (including all the WT literature), watched TV, went to the movies...

This is not new. There has been a lot of negative publicity concerning esp. abuse and DF practices among JWs for decades in the Scandianvian countries, esp in Denmark and Norway, but lately Sweden has had an increase in bad JW publicity. Also in Finland there has been a lot of TV/media coverage on JWs.
The August peak point of Norway was close to 12,000 (ca. 11,700). When i left the witnesses more than ten years ago they had about 10,500 reporting at most as far as I remember. Considering Norway is a very secular country, this number is fairly "good" seen from the witnesses point of view.
