  New Field Service Policy - jw's assigned to neighborhoods

  i am looking for confirmation on the following:.

  jws are now being individually assigned to smaller territories, and they are told to consistently work that same territory over & over again.

  the reason is that the watchtower wants the jws to build relationships with the people in that area.

  have anyone of you read, the absolutly jaw dropping paragraph in this article about a women who was hit by her husband?

  its in page 25 of the 2/15/12 wt study edition (i read the dumbed down version).. .

  if there was any question, that the watchtowers stance is for wives to simply take it when their husbands abuse them, this makes it crystal clear.. who the hell is scanning these things before they go to print?

  Interestingly, in the Swedish version of the Watchtower, the story is rendered somewhat differently. The part about hitting is omitted, so the reader is left to the impression that "only" verbal abuse was involved.

  The Norwegian and Danish versions, however, have a literal translation of the account on Steve and his wife.

  Name of Turkish Watchtower

  some time ago the turkish edition of the watchtower was called tarassut kulesi if memory proves med right.. now, though, the name has been changed to gozcu kulesi.

  is there anyone skilled in turkish that could explain this change?.

  I see. Seems that the latter version is a more literal translation of the English term then. Thank you for helping out!... I thought of google myself, but did not espect it to be that disctinctive on details...

  fortunately this has been banned in my country since the early 80s.

  Also, all references to phycial discipline in JW literature was removed from then on, in order to comply with the law.

  I also remember in my congregation that an elder spoke against such discipline from the platform.

  it felt weird discussing this topic this week about this term, "share" of the levites.

  .

  some made comments that alluded to the financial assistance that we are currently doing towards sponsoring the bethels around the world.. i wouldn't be surprised that a new thought comes out soon about that ten percent rule.. .

  Why on earth would WT use a FEMALE lawyer to defend it in Australia case?

  how many of us here find the use of a female to conduct the defence unusual?.

  the wt religion is notoriously misogynistic.

  anybody with a penis is preferable to do a non menial job.. why the change here?.

  There are also other women representing the witnesses in court and also writing articles etc defending them...

  I do not remember her name, but I think there is a sister with a chinese name affiliated with Brooklyn if I remember correctly.

  Comments from a real JW about the killing of apostates watchtower. You will be shocked..

  this is a very good find from another jw only web site i have access to... hey i just found this on a link of my mom's that she is "friends" with, yes, still a jw...anyway, i had to copy/paste it so you could all see, thought it was a bit hilarious to see how they blatantly speak of keeping info from "outsiders.

  " i did not copy the name of the person since that is not my point and i am not that disrespectful, but i did copy their comment...they were discussing the wt about killing all apostates and someone that was studying asked a question as to whether they all thought that was right or not, so here it is..............."james... although its a great article and very encouraging, as apostates do deserve to be murdered, it may not be such a good idea to reveal it our friend zeek at this moment.

  he may find it a tad over the top.
