  just wanted to remind you that my home is open to you if and when you're in the area.. last fall i bought this old upright piano for my youngest daughter.

  she plays violin, but became interested in the piano.

  i don't know how she learned to play it, but she's doing very well after just a few months.

  Last fall I bought this old upright piano for my youngest daughter. She plays violin, but became interested in the piano. I don't know how she learned to play it, but she's doing very well after just a few months. She's playing classical music as well as other stuff. Currently, she's hooked on the Enya music book I got her for Christmas. She also enjoys listening to the music you've posted on this forum.

  Dissing the JWs....

  i've been inactive for a few years now, and yet, despite all i read, i can't feel as you mostly all do.

  i have a lot of happy memories of being "in the truth" (and i know how much some here hate that line) and fond memories of the meetings and assemblies, sure it was much easier to break away and live life like i am now,..... but well, thats just how i feel.

  i can understand those that may leave for personal reasons, but not sure i'll ever understand some here who have such a hatred of anything jw related.

  when we were in the org, we had to watch our language, and speak correctly and never swear.

  people knew we were jw's just by the way we dressed, but also by the way we talked.

  I like to get inventive with my swearing. I once overheard a guy swearing at something while in his workshop. I think he was just a tad pissed when he yelled, and I quote:

  Who plays a musical instrument?

  everybody likes music, but i don't know many people who play an instrument.

  years ago, every house had a piano, and just about everybody in the house played the piano, but not today.

  we all know that farkel is an excellent pianist, and i do enjoy listening to his music.. does any of you play a musical instrument?

  So why can't Blacks and Whites celebrate Black culture and beauty in a couple magazines if in comparison there are 100 times more magazines that celebrate Anglo beauty and culture?
