Memoral time kids...... anyone going?
by Pepper ini don't about you all but being raised a jehovah's witness was so ingrained in me that going to the memoral seems the right thing to do at this time of the year.
so i for one will do it for no other reason other than i was trained that way, and of course i like the song they sing its touching and i am a big sinner lord have mercey!

They were at my door Saturday

JW Urban Legends
by Azalo indid any of you hear any of the urban legends that jw's used to scare people into being deathly afraid of demons?
for example i remeber hearing that a child brough a smurf doll to a meeting and upon hearing the name jehovah uttered it got up and walked out.

Do you remember the one about the poor pioneer couple who bought a very nice Mercedes Benz for $500.00?
The story goes that this pioneer couple's car broke down and they were searching the ads for a new junker. They saw an ad for a MB for $500.00 They nearly dismissed it as a typo, but responded anyway. Sure enough, the lady was selling it cheap because her philandering husband who died, wrote in his will that the car should be sold and the proceeds given to the mistress.
Funny that he trusted the wife to sell the car at market value.

Good for you, Warrigal!
I suspect this house I worked on was a meth or drug house of some kind. The mother or father to the pups was probably the protection. Then the low-lifes bugged out and left the poor pups alone.
I'm trying to find a home for them as we speak. I won't take them to the pound unless I just can't find a new owner. I've already got three dogs of my own.

Is Satan the good guy?
by blackout inif i were to believe in the bible (which i am starting to totally disbelieve), i like the idea that satan was actually on mans side, and when you look at what he told eve he was actually telling the truth, it was god who lied.
this used to cross my mind as a witness but i would very swiftly dismiss it as demons affecting my thinking.
didn't he say we could rule ourselves if given a fair chance?
