My thought on this subject was to possibly add some additional rules to the covenant, such as "NO Soliciting" or any door to door activity. Just wondering if the local laws would allow such rules even if a whole neighborhood agrees to the rules. Will have to check on that one. I'm not even sure what my own 'hood covenant says. I know there is one, though.

Any on this forum live in a 'hood with a covenant, and what are your thoughts? The obvious question is, CAN WE LEGALLY KEEP 'HOVAHS OUT.

when you are seeing someone, what will turn you off or cause you to want to give the other person the flick?

i have talked to a number of female friends and they agree weak or 'sparkless' kissing is a killer.

(see thread on kissing) for me...and i know this sounds shallow... lousy sex is a killer.

last night when i went to bed, my heart was quite heavy: there were things on it, in it, thereon... whatever... that i could not reconcile: i know what i have heard from my lord - how do i get others who love him to grasp that such a thing is possible, to understand that they do not have to take my word for it, but can ask him, for i am nothing more than a good-for-nothing-slave... and have "sold" myself into the "service" of the one who "bought" me... so that it is his will that i must obey... whether earthling man hears... or refrain?

the vast majority on this forum have likely struggled with many issues regarding god,

christ, the bible, history, truth, religion, the foundations of christianity, agnosticism, and atheism.

Daughter off to Italy!

well, my world traveling oldest daughter is off to italy for two weeks tomorrow morning.

she'll be flying into seattle from spokane for one night, then overseas she goes.

last summer she spent two weeks in the british isles.. .

Well, my world traveling oldest daughter is off to Italy for two weeks tomorrow morning. She'll be flying into Seattle from Spokane for one night, then overseas she goes. Last summer she spent two weeks in the British Isles.

It's just so hard to believe that just 19 years ago she was born, and for 6 months was the most colicky baby I've ever seen. Didn't sleep a full night for six months. Then she turned into a quiet little book worm who excelled in all subjects she had in school. College was started two years early, and by this time next year she'll be a college graduate, earning a BA in business accounting from Gonzaga University.

Just think, if I had remained a 'hovah, she just might be languishing in a field service car group, or worse yet, at Brookyn Bethel, possibly marrying some Society slave. Thank god she was given the opportunity to excell and experience her dreams.

Maybe there is a God.
