Not long ago Texas dropped all (I think, fact check if needed) COVID restrictions and President Biden called Texans Neanderthals. Today my state, a deep blue state btw, rolled back many of the imposed restrictions. Many other states are doing the same. If President Biden was correct in his judgement of Texas, we are all Neanderthals now.

I get offended when people turn on their turn signal AFTER they start the turn. Why bother signaling at all? What the hell, people? Using a turn signal correctly is really not that difficult! Other than that I'm even tempered.

I knew a witness that voted on a school bond issue. He got a stern lecture. His reason for voting was he paid property taxes and the tax was going to go up significantly if the bond issue passed. If I remember correctly, the elders position was that while actually voting was bad, if someone saw him at the polls it could have stumbled that person. The horrors! It was quite a few years ago.

A letter from a JW arrived the other day. Nothing remarkable. I wondered why I was sent the letter? Do JW's just send them to random people or does someone around here know that I was associated in the long ago past. I thought about it and I'm pretty sure I have been to the local Hall once 26 years ago. Again, nothing remarkable...except for one thing.
The letter had a full return address on it. For fun (I know I lead a dull life) I decided to Google the name to see if it was real. In about 10 minutes I confirmed the sender was authentic, who she is married to, how many children she has, the names of her spouse and children and where she and most of her family work. I noted that a death occurred recently in her family and, on a happier note, she is planning for a wedding this summer! I also learned she lives in a nice house (thanks Google maps) and somebody in the house might drive a Chevy Suburban (thanks Google street view). Did I mention I saw pictures of her and her loved ones?
Are JW's really this dense? Sending unsolicited mail to strangers containing enough personal information to potentially cause real harm to come their way? That is remarkable!

Was the President aware this was going to happen? I read the Vice-President was livid as she was not informed. I wonder who is actually running the show? On a side note, House Democrats are calling for changes in how nukes are launched. They want launch by committee (who else liked committees?). Again, who is running the show?

I listened to Rush once in a while. I disagreed with quite a bit of what he said, but his show was entertaining. He was the greatest at what he did. Lots of imitators came and went since he began in 1988. I'm surprised he lived as long as he did after his diagnosis.
The twitterverse exploded with comments about Rush. I have one question for people who are cheering Rush's death. Did you ever listen to his show? Well, haters gotta hate.
