Why build Warwick and now take on a large project such as Patterson if the GT could happen at any moment and the authorities repossess WTs property like they have in Russia?
Our KH announced there will be a local needs part next week in regard to the Patterson Project. I’m sure it will be “loving reminders” to travel there and give of your time for free or if your unable to, give as much $$$ as you can.

this is the kind of stuff that crosses over into tinfoil hat territory, but you can't help but notice it.. did anyone else see gary breaux in this month's broadcast doing that weird "hand diamond" thing over his bible?
he was also wearing a pinky ring.

I only watched a few minutes, but never noticed him doing the diamond with 2 hands. The things I did notice are 1) he always had his right hand on the Bible. It seemed really odd. 2) he spoke much too slowly, felt like it was in slow motion or he was trying to make it clear to a deaf person so they could read his lips.
I’ve noticed most of the speakers on JW Broadcasting speak much too slowly, it drives me fucking crazy and I have to turn it off after 2 minutes.

When you say the Watchtower will be obsolete, you just mean it won’t be in printed form any longer? I can’t imagine Sunday meetings not having a Watchtower study. It would make sense if it still was written, but only in online format.

That is exactly what I would expect the Society to encourage. They never provide any assistance or charity with all the millions they rake in from the flock. Just like all the Bethelites they sent packing, no severance or anything, they can be the local congregations burden now and they wipe their hands clean. They are just so cutthroat and heartless. This cult can’t end soon enough.

We’re told Jesus perfectly reflects his fathers qualities. Why in the New Testament does Jesus show no hint of anger and jealousy and wanting to kill people? His ministry was all about compassion and forgiveness.
Does this mean Jehovah realized he made mistakes in the past and when Jesus came to earth, he wanted people see how he changed and thinks and feels now towards humans? That whole issue has made me pause a lot and think WTF?

The Great KH Sell-Off
by snugglebunny inre the great kh sell off: could a congregation refuse to sign over their kingdom hall to the society?
i seem to recall - many years ago admittedly - that my home kh had been paid for by voluntary donations, no loans being involved.
i have no idea what the situation is now, but i do recall that many jw's contributed a set amount every month to the kh fund until there was enough money in the pot to build one.

I recall reading about one congregation in California, I think it was the Menlo Park congregation. The Society wanted to sell it and take all their funds from the account. If memory serves me right, there might have been close to $750,000 in their account. The elders put up a fight and they lost. All the elders were removed or maybe they were DFed.

i had this article pop up about the darksilver case.
it says a federal magistrate in san francisco has now ruled that darksilver can remain anonymous but then it says except for identification to lawyers for the religion’s watchtower publication.

Darkspilvers only hope is his family wakes up and leaves as well. There is a huge awakening going on and I believe more and more JWs are seeing through all the bullshit. The child abuse cases are showing up on mainstream news sources and the pleas for money are happening more and more often, they have no shame. Not to mention the JW.org logo plastered everywhere. All the titles in the Organization, has a total corporate feel to it, nothing resembling a religion.
