  Definitely one cannot be planning to leave the org and still think of marrying members or carry on with any relationship that is meant to lead to MARRIAGE. I feel for many who are presently stucked because of their marriage partner.

  Weasel Word Phrase--The Bible Does Not Say...but

  the bible does not say—the weasel word phrase that bugs me the most.

  note that though the wts says this, it then proceeds to add :.

  after jesus’ birth, why did joseph and mary remain in bethlehem instead of returning home to nazareth?.

  Weasel words should be an identifying mark of religion based on legalisms, assumptions and speculations.

  Does the WTS have a clergy class (yes-no)

  although we respect those who are taking the lead, we accept jesus’ clear teaching: “all of you are brothers.”".

  They can choose to deny and lie about it. According to Websters dictionary

  CLERGY is a group ordained to perform pastoral or sacerdotal functions in a Christian church.

  No single elder in the world of Jehovah's Witnesses will ever get to that position of elder, C.O, D.O, Branch committees and finally GB except ordained or called to perform such function.

  They cannot all be called brothers since publishers cannot carry out shepherding calls on elders in their midst or fellow publishers in their midst.

  The work of shepherding the flock is an ordained function of the elder a position higher than the LAITY (ordinary publishers).

  I for one told the C.O and the secretary that I don't want anyone to announce me as an elder that I will rather be approached by other members who deem it fit as being one not based on someone going up to announce to every other member of the congregation that I am now appointed as an elder.

  The C.O told me he has to follow the process and procedures and today the rest is history. Announcement made regarding such appointment is the ORDINATION they deny they don't do.

  2 corinthians 7:4. i had snuck into bethel with absolute perfect timing, had been taught that armageddon was likely coming either in 1974 or 1975, probably in sept. or oct. .

  n h knorr invited me by letter, asking me to show up monday august 12, or was it the 19th?.

  when you disassociate or leave the organisation, the belief becomes jehovah/god is the organisation.

  What they find difficult to come to terms with is those who refuse to worship the mother(organisation) as God

  I still remember the pictures attached to the Isaiah chapter 44:.....cited during the time Isaiah's prophecy book was used as weekly bible study material.

  They sold us the concept ORGANIZATION through the following means as explained by Ray Franz in ISCOF book page 104 paragraph 2

  Just as the term “Church” or ekklesia then came to have a double meaning—referring at times to the community of believers and at others to the religious authority exercising control over the believers—so the word “organization” is used in two ways by the Watch Tower organization. It can mean all who are Witnesses worldwide, the Witness community. Or it can refer to those who form the authority structure that directs and controls that community. It is generally not difficult to tell which way the term applies. If there is exhortation to trust, put faith in, be loyal to, listen to, show submission to “the organization” it always applies in the second sense(the authority structure). This thought prevails in the minds of Witnesses. In the expression “Jehovah directs his people through his organization,” if “organization” were used in the first sense it would mean “Jehovah directs his people through his people,” for “organization” would refer to the whole community of Witnesses. Such expressions occur regularly in the Watch Tower publications and create no problem—simply because the minds of Witnesses almost automatically relate the term “organization” to the authority structure based in Brooklyn(and by extension God/Jehovah). It thus takes on the same sense that the word “Church” acquired in the post-apostolic period.

  ORGANIZATION = JEHOVAH

  What does Exodus 20: 4,5 states You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or on the earth below or in the waters under the earth. You must not bow down to them nor be enticed to serve them for I, Jehovah your God, am a God who requires exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation of those who hate me,

  in 2008 i was baptized into the truth after leaving a trinitarian faith.

  during my eight years as a jehovah’s witness, i strived to keep the standards set by the bible, wt and the faithfull and discrete slave.

  but unfortunately, the congregational elders from the kingdom hall i attended were not keeping to jehovah’s standards, hence, wrote my letter of resignation.
