Keep your eyes on the Prize!
by RubyTuesday inno ...not talking about a jw song (that one was my favorite tho).
i think everyone has won something at one time .. i won kiss concert tickets from a radio station ( don't even like them).
a friend of mine won a car in high school.. have any of you ever won anything?

Neil has always been a favorite of mine. I won tickets because I knew the songs he had written for the Monkees (I'm a Believer and some others I can't recall at the moment). I have seen him several times, most recently 1996. He is a crowd pleaser and a wonderful performer. The women love him because of his hairy chest (me included).
I also won tickets to see Paul McCartney a few months ago and got to see him in concert. A radio station drew my name...I was floored. I got to go see another Beatle!

Ex-JW Conventions and Support Groups

like the one in new ringgold, pa where joan cetnar who is a former jw that hosts the convention every year?.

Joan Cetnar's annual convention in PA is a wonderful way for people who are on their way out to be around people who feel the same way they do or did at one time. Lots of tears shed at this convention but lots of smiles also. The only thing I didn't like was all the tables set up selling literature.

I gave all my WT literature to a countercult ministry that has large amounts of WT stuff in their research library. I did throw the song book away. No one would want to sing those depressing things after they left the borg.
