I remember Lorri MacGregor's ministry had a video a few years ago. I think one of the characters was a "Sister Beagle." the sister always getting into every one's business.

Kingdom Hall personalities
by freedom96 injust as people have different personalities, i believe that individual congregations also had their own personality.. the hall i went to while growing up, was just awful.
the po of the hall was known in the entire area, and was just a tyrant.
there were no grey areas.

I always enjoy listening to Jose Feliciano's "Feliz Navidad." That's a great song and will put anyone in the holiday spirit.

19th Wedding Anniversary!
by TR2 inon this day, 19 years ago, my lovely wife and i were married at assumption catholic church in spokane, washington, usa.. she put up with me, when a month later i got involved with 'hovahs.
she stuck with me for the next ten years through my 'hovahness.
her family, my family, accepted me back without question when i dumped the wts, and shed the fake, thin veneer of being a 'hovah.

My last post on this subject: Paul McCartney in concert is a wonderful occasion. Paul McCartney singing Beatle songs is about as close we get to a Beatles reunion in '02. I can't believe they drew my name and I got to go, what a wonderful blessing! Thanks for a great time, Paul and band. It was great reliving those moments on Wednesday night.

I know Paul toured Japan very recently, he's back in London preparing for a special concert honoring the first anniversary of the death of George Harrison. He loves to tour, but be prepared to spend a lot of money. The top tickets on the U.S. tour were $250.00 EACH, with my balcony seats I won were $85.00 each (at least I got to go free.) We could see him really well, as we were on the stage side and not way out in the arena.

I was fortunate enough to be there for the Dallas concert in May (first night). I won some tickets from a local radio station and it was a wonderful evening to remember. Especially Jet and Band on the Run, what rockin songs!
