how often you may have song the chorus to song 14 god's loyal love with a lilt in your singing!

did you ever stop to think how much the writing department likes to use the word "ones"?

a closer examination indicates there's almost as many different "ones" as there are "classes"!

Why So Many Magazines?

why does the watchtower have to print so many different magazines every two weeks?

the truth is out since over 2000 years, and the truth didn't change since the time of jesus.

so why does the watchtower have to give us the latest version of the truth every 2 weeks?

A lot of the new light is repackaged old light with a new magazine cover. I mean how many times can you discuss your dedication to Jehovah and his organization without saying the same old thing?

Anyone Ever Reinstated After "Apostacy"?

good morning!

i was just wondering if anyone on this site has been reinstated as a jw after having been disfellowhipped or disassociated from the watchtower society for "apostasy"?

if so, would you mind telling us what it was like for you to go through the "process" of reinstatement after having "seen the light" <smile!> about the organization?

I know of one person who started associating again after being declared an "apostate" - she went back only for her family and because she wanted to see her grandchildren. She was able to go through the motions for a few years, until her death.

Bill Parcells and the Cowboys

even i was shocked to hear that bill parcells comes out of retirement to coach the cowblows .i think there is even a rumor that troy aikman will come out of retirement to qb .

i don't know what do you think the cowboobs chances are next year?

Preaching The Good News

i really don't know why jws call going door to door "preaching the good news".

it's really not all that good.

their message: join up with the jws or die at armageddon.

I'd make sure I would go door-to-door telling people with the message that they had won the Publisher's Clearing House grand prize. And the only door I would go to would be my own.

Do You Think That You'll Ever Heal & Recover?

after reading so many touching personal stories of your lives , do you think that one day you will fully recover from being a jehovah's witness?

do you feel that in time, you will be able to heal?

will you ever be able to trust yourself and others?

I think I have pretty much recovered, however I still cringe when I hear my family members talk about it. Guess that will always be the case. I certainly don't want to cringe, I just want to pretend I don't care one way or the other. Like I don't feel guilty if you say something to me or get angry with the comment. Just ask like their comments are nothing to me. Healing just takes time and it's not an overnight process.

with all the talking about visiting inactive ones, i wonder how many inactive people have not been visited yet?

if you weren't visited yet, could it be because they df'd you, and you don't know about it?

They know where I am and could easily find me if they choose (my dad's an elder) however, they haven't tried to locate me. Maybe I am geographically undesirable or they really don't care. Like cruzanheart said, maybe I am not worth the effort, which is just fine with me!
