  Growing up I had to attend this king of service and I just deplored when they asked you to raise your hand and sway. I refused to copy all the other "Jesus Freaks" as they were called, and just watched. Its almost as if you were agreeing to everything the leader was saying if you raised your hand, and if you just stood there or sat there, you were looked upon as an outsider, a non-believer, someone to shun...other religions have their means of DA,d

  which world is this?_________________when the doctor pulled my screaming body out of mom all those 7 decades ago, i landed in a post-wwii world.it was--compared to today's world--an alien planet.. the world i live in today has nothing in common with the world in which i grew up.. there were no cell phones back then--there were black telephones with a dial-tone and an operator who placed your call.

  everywhere you found telephone booths!

  a call was a nickle.where did all those telephone booths go?i dunno.where did my whole world go?i dunno.. tv sets were huge boxes with tubes and small screens.

  I bought a betamax at Sears for $900 and 2 years later got a VCR/camcorder at Rich,s for $1200 and boy was I the latest geek in the neighborhood. All the weddings, friends were asking to bring the camera and "tape" it for their memories.

  i have been doing research on the arc as some people on here have suggested.

  i find it interesting on the case file analysis some of the findings.

  it looks like queensland and new south wales had the biggest problems with this.

  doesn't this environment encourage the pedofile to seek out kingdom halls, because he or she knows they won't be reported as readily as anywhere else. seems like they would be the next "great crowd" to enter into the kingdom halls. Such an environment creeps me out, and this alone keeps me out and I'm sure others. Any new studies should be looked upon as suspect, especially if they just "showed up"

  When your teams looses in the playoffs and you are such a sore looser, you blame it on the refs or a deflated ball, or bad coaching, but it was never your teams fault, even if your team won more of the oh so popular yardage, but lost in the final score, just accept it and wait till next year(or 4 years) to try again.
