  i am seven months without bible bashing, without door-knocking, or standing by a trolley cart looking like a prat.

  and i feel the real winners are the " lucky bastards" who haven't been told about jehvover.

  furthermore they are spared super pious me telling them what they can and can't do.

  Don't sweat looking like a Prat, I'm sure as soon as they could get away from your "witness" they probably could not pick you out of a lineup. People just see a nice suit and tie and thats about it, most are preoccupied and busy with their own affairs to notice you, they just are looking for an out to get away.

  i was talking with a friend of mine who knows a few people in the home department at bethel.

  apparently, prince was, as i noted in the title, on the board of directors.

  he apparently was sort of a silent partner or advisor in the whole thing.

  Being Positive around family that are still in.

  if you are a fader or you have reduced activity markedly - say resigned as a pioneer or an elder or ms or gone inactive and still have some relationship with your immediate family or spouse - how do you stay positive around them when you feel like shaking them out of their stupor but believe deep down it would be counter productive?.

  I like to try and relate the current political affairs and mention Hillary and Bill getting back in the white house, or Trump getting into the White House. Its surprising how JW,s have pretty strong feelings one way or the other about who will be in charge for 4 years and then I will say something like, if only you guys voted, 2 million votes one way or the other would change an election.

  when we were in, it was 'the truth'.after being out and free to think and research as i please, what a disappointment to find out that this org is nothing but a publishing house of lies.they literally are in the business ( corporation ) of selling lies.don't believe me?review the publication that you 'studied the bible in' and discover for yourself that the very doctrine that attracted you, no longer exists.it was the "live forever" book for me.the generation that saw the events of 1914 has died and now after a few tweaks the massive lie of "overlapping generations" has been promoted as "truth".this takes us to galatians 1:8,9.read it carefully and repeatedly.

  They also boldly misquote anytime they feel like it because their followers get their ears tickled. One recent example I came across was in the Dec 15, 2015 WT Where they quote from the Preface of the Revised Standard Version..“4 Despite the clear evidence that the personal name of God belongs in the Bible, many translations completely omit the sacred name of God. In fact, just two years after the New World Translation of the Christian Greek Scriptures was released in 1950, the Revised Standard Version was published. That version omitted the name, reversing the policy of the editors of the American Standard Version of 1901. Why? The preface says: “The use of any proper name for the one and only God . . . is entirely inappropriate for the universal faith of the Christian Church.” That set a pattern for many subsequent translations, English and non-English”

The quote from the RSV is as follows...For two reasons the Committee has returned to the more familiar usage of the King James Version: (1) the word “Jehovah” does not accurately represent any form of the Name ever used in Hebrew; and (2) the use of any proper name for the one and only God, as though there were other gods from whom He had to be distinguished, was discontinued in Judaism before the Christian era and is entirely inappropriate for the universal faith of the Christian Church. The word jehovah was made up in the medieval period.

  Your Thoughts: My wife said...her service friend. speculated Prince would leave his vast fortune to the Society!

  so, talking with my wife yesterday.

  she was out cart witnessing (barf) and one of the people she was with claimed to have know prince, or meet him or something like that.

  well anyways...they or her or someone (they are all braindoogled) speculated or fantasized that since prince did not have any relatives or something or the other.

  my lds, long-time, friend sent me article at www.pinktruth.com -- adult children of dysfunctional families: the perfect recruiting pool for the mlm industries.

  it's a good read how people are automatic victims to mary kay cosmetics -- makes perfect sense.

  makes more sense they're easy prey to cults thus the success of watchtower and mormonism.

  These businesses appeal to those who want to do part time work, with full time money. I remember in the 80,s Amway,avon, tupperware, and another company that sold 1 oz gold coins for $200 each. Today when someone mentions they are working part time and want to use your house for a demonstration location, run like the devil away from them...
