a bit of background first.
i was raised a jw and baptized at 15 although to say i was dedicated was stupid, anyway began to fade with my wife after we were married and finally broke away about 10 years ago although we were not da,d or df,d.
three years ago i decided to do what i had always wanted to and joined the airforce which i am immensly proud of and enjoy greatly ,somrthing i could never say about being a jw.
Sorry to hear that curious, just remember you dont have to tell them anything, you owe them no explantion or confession. Let them just get it second hand off other people and refuse to answer any questions.
Its possible they will claim you D'ad yourself by your actions but if you tell them nothing its all down to gossip.

That was NEVER the case when I was a JW, it simply wasnt allowed. Loads of JWs have had to refuse to put their hand on the Bible and swear an oath. I felt embarrassed to have to do this once too, now they change! sheesh.

I just about like it all, except to say Vanilla that has rasberry stripes in it, that gets right on my nerves. Also not keen on any that has additional things in it, like fruit cocktails, berries, flies and stuff....dont mind nuts though.

Good thought Sidd, this would relate to a question you asked yesterday about the purpose of dilemmas. Sometimes they are unresolved and do not leave people with or without faith, I would assume in a lot of cases the mind simply moves on undecided, so the person remains in the same system of belief that they had before a dilemma began.
You make very interesting observations, do you study the mind indepth? Psychology or something?

remember the watchtower that asked "are jws a cult?
" and then listed things that cleared it of the accusations of being such?
cant remember the date.. anyway one of the things it said was that "cults" usually have a lot of ex members testifying against it and the damage it has caused to their family lives.
Geesh so much pain the Watchtower brings! Thanks for sharing your stories...very sad.
It gets right up my nose to hear of the commercial they are now showing in the USA that pictures happy people! That "Family Happiness" book is the biggest insult to any JW family that has suffered the severing of family bonds.
