I think the answer to those who would take Genesis literally, and then raise questions about God's motives or judgement, is found in Job 38:4, words to the effect that maybe the Almighty God of the universe knows more about it than you.

the noachian flood actually happened a little less than 4,500 years ago after which eight adults stepped off the ark to repopulate the planet.. that means that approximately 60 million lives had been snuffed out, a holocaust by anyone's estimation.
as if that isn't horrific enough just think about the babies, toddlers and young children god killed.. he drowned all of them, every single one.

my question is: why don't they?
if the gb are issuing orders to cover up evidence in csa cases, and otherwise interfere in justice being served in those cases, then they are accessories before (and after) the fact, and theoretically can be arrested and charged as such.

As I understand it, the important and most disappointing 'new light' from the 2023 annual meeting is going to be in the May 2024 watchtower.
Hence this gentle warning that we don't expect to be feeling any disappointment any time soon. No, not us!

…dialed-up-to-eleven shunning of xjws by their witness relatives.. it reminds me of back in the day, listening to some of the over-the-top vitriol displayed by hard-core loyalists when the topic of evolution or apostates came up….
…i was gobsmacked when i finally realized these guys weren’t offended and indignant because they thought it was lies….

I wouldn't be surprised if the governing body was discovered to have been taken to heaven just as their great tribulation begins.
I'd love to see them apprehended at the airport with one way tickets to a country that has no extradition treaty with the US.

Oh noooooo! My favorite Youtubers turn out to be JW's.
by HappyDad inon the subject of beards....i recently realized that the people in three of the youtube channels i love to watch are jw's.
i don;t want to name these channels here, but you can message me if you want to know them.
shortly after the announcement of now being allowed to have a beard, the men on these youtube channels started growing facial hair, whereas until that point, they were clean shaven.
