  My grandma died

  yesterday morning.

  she had a heart attack when she was at dialysis.

  thank god, she was already at the hospital.

  So sorry for your loss. Grandma's are really special people. Grieving is normal and emotionally and physically necessary. In time, the grief will not have such a grip over you. I'm sure she knew that you loved her dearly, as she did you. Allow the grieving process to run its course. In due time, you will feel better.

  i have been researching the greyhound breed.

  does any one have a italian greyhound or greyhound?

  my application is in for a retired or rescue dog.

  Good Lord RedhorseWoman....where DO yo sleep in that household? Have you got any mula left for people food? You've got 18 animals.

  I lost my kitty not too long ago so I have no animals at the moment. Unfortunately, my stupid homeowner's association passed a "No Pet" rule before I could replace him. That's just great.

  Today I saw the cutest little puppy. It was a 2-1/2 lb teacup Yorkie pup. I'm in love. Hey, do you think I could teach it to use a kitty litter so I wouldn't have to take it outside so the association would find out????

  Ignorance and my best friend(?). Once I found out the truth about the "troof" and that I had been lied to by a bunch of pathetic hypocrites, I was outta there....friend(?) or no friend. If she wanted to continue to stick her head in a hole and continue to live the lie, that was up to her. For me, once I saw them for what they were and took a good honest look at what they were really doing to people (myself included), they made me sick!

  at about 6:30 this evening my mother passed away.. .

  the best mother and the best wife anybody could ever be blessed with.

  she was not only my mother, she was my friend.

  someone had a graphic picture which represented the tru nature of being a jw to a tee.

  it was a picture of what looked like a naked woman in white silhouette with a closed cage around her head and possibly her hands bound.

  i vaguely remember something in the picture that pictured the wt having the key to the cage.

  Help! Neighbor starting a study

  i am so furious.

  the very zealous elderly pioneer sister who lives across the street (alberta) has been canvassing the neighborhood for studies.

  i watch her walk up and down the street and being very friendly and helpful with her neighbors (all the while preaching to them i'm sure).

  My goodness. I just checked this thread again. Sorry I didn't see your further responses.

  Jgnat: Yes. Putting together the basket was fun. I did something similar last year with just hand-delivered cards but expanded my "territory" to a few more neighbors that I had gotten to know over the past year. I changed the "spiritual food" this year. It's nice getting to know them and learning that there are areas in which you can be of "service" to them. Many are alone and appreciate attention and someone to talk to.

  James: Welcome to the board. It turned out that Marie was more interested in trying to find a nice set of friends for her grandaughter. To Alberta's credit, she saw the need and hopped on it (with one motive in mind, however....bringing the granddaughter into the fold ). However, I am glad that Marie was able to find a more suitable Bible study class for her grandaughter without resorting to getting involved with JW's. What Ozzie and Sheila said is true. This could have eventually separated them or at least driven a big, BIG, wedge between them. Marie was not at all impressed with the JW's! Anyway, I was prepared had this not been the case.

  Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas....
