Finger in the chili
by anasazi init is a hoax.
she was arrested for it.
this fact that a woman made a complaint about finding a finger tip in her chili and thus it hurt wendy's business shows that two witnesses are necessary for any accusation to be validated.

Just dropping in when I got some free time. Busy day today. Spent some time in town today. Kids were crazy. I had to yell at them a few times to get away from our humvee. 'Meesta, Meesta, Give me money!'----'NO!, Ishta!!!' (f@#* off)
Other than that, not too bad. The bread they sell down at the bakeries are top notch. Good stuff. Lots of other stories to tell. I feel bad for these guys, most want the U. S. to stay. I hate to see what happens when we leave.
Oh well, got to go,
peace out

YESTERDAY'S WT STUDY
by Mary inoh lordy, at yesterday's botchtower study, paragraph 17 (i think) asked what we personally found "encouraging" about the 2004 stats that are listed by country in the wt.
anyway, someone finally put up their hand and remarked about how wonderful it was to see that ethiopia had a 5% increase......ya, i guess if you're starving to death, who wouldn't want to hear that paradise is right around the corner.
one bro put up his hand and actually mentioned the fact that there was 0% increase in virtually all the industrialized nations, but that we "shouldn't let that discourage us".

Hello from Tikrit!!!
Haven't seen the article, but I was talking to a gent from Eurithria (no not urethra)-a small part of ethiopia that seceded a few years ago, he was very familiar with Jehovah's Witnesses. It's not that they're simple people, it's that the people as a whole are fanatic about anything and everything. It's a dangerous mix when you take a fanatic and supply him with a mind -numbing, mind-controlling religion. (As long as their not packing heat, I suppose it's ok) He also said the government views any fanaticism as a threat, that's why you may hear about their persecution from time to time.(Believe it or not, Dubs are not special in this regard)They're just considered regular, run of the mill fanatics. Who knew?
By the way, Tikrit isn't bad. Convoy from Kuwait was a BITCH though.
Haven't seen any Brits around here...where they at Simon, Eman?

I'm sure Mr. Layne was more than happy to provide information regarding his faith to the press. Anything to provide a "witness"

Hats Off in the House !!!
by prophecor incall me crazy or what, but theres a recurring issue that i have regarding my son's wish to wear his hat in the house.
i've never been certain regarding the reason men were to remove their hats when petitioning the almighty, the issue of headship and being respectful of it and the common custom in the west for a man to remove the hat upon entering one's home or church.
even in the military during basic training, the issue with regard to hats was a predominating theme, to the degree that we were taught that at the instant your head was no longer covered by a building of some sort, your hat was to be immediately placed upon your head, but once open sky no longer covered your head and you walked into a building of any type, that hat was to be removed !!

As anyone familiar with the military knows, hats off indoors (unless under arms). I remember my drill sergeant telling me "The same goes for when you're in civies! If I see any o' you sons of bitches out 'n about with a hat on inside, I'm gonna smoke the shit outta you!! I don't give a shit where you are!!!
I should say that these aren't exact quotes, he did use the f word about 14 times in those 3 sentences.

just curious, whats wrong with the smurfs?
by embeth2525 inwas reading the older posts and noticed a christmas display with smurfs, why don't jw's like smurfs?
i guess i wasn't informed about that one.

Here's a thought: Smurfs, as a few of you know originated in Belgium, a french speaking country (Les Schtroumpfs). The Smurfs are also one of the more popular comic strips in France. Is it possible that this rumor of smurf demonism was encouraged by the borg itself in retaliation for France's attitude toward evangelical cults? And wouldn't France's tax levied on dubs qualify as retaliation against them for lost sales, wages, etc., resulting from the dub's ban on smurfs?
Anyone? Hmmm? Hmmm?

Nostalgia isn't what it used to be...
by Elsewhere ini bought an atari 2600 off of ebay (you'd be surprised how cheap they are) and i hooked it up tonight and played some of my favorite games of old... pac man, combat, berzerk, donkey cong, frogger, etc... and guess what... they suck!
i thought i was going to go down memory lane, only i forgot just how bad those games were.
wow, i remember my dad paying over $100 for one of those when i was a kid... what the hell were we thinking??

you should have played the old commodore 64 games...Hardball was by far the best baseball game ever. The stuff they got today is too complicated.
I tried downloading the c64 programming with games to play on my pc, but to no avail. anyone have any suggestions on how to do that?

I bet they did some backward masking. Play it backwards and you'll hear:" Elders don't get chubbies after counselling married couples", or "All religions are stupid except for us", or how about "We never cover up sexual abuse by elders", better yet, "Education and self-improvement is a waste of time"
