to all of you i want to say thanks for the many hours ,love, fun, & affection i have experienced on this board...simon & ang a special ((hug)) for letting me be here.
to those who have adopted me as a mum, gran, friend thanks for putting up with me & wonderful comments you have made about me...i cannot keep up with the board anymore.
i am having trouble with my computer -which make me frustrated.
Just a thought, would it be possible to set up a voice recognition prog in microsoft word,it would just be post and paste then instead of keyboard pounding,I know these progs do exist.
Take care.

if all goes like you plan, where and what do you expect to be doing in 10 years from now?.
what do you expect to accomplish here to then?.
If I knew I was going to make it this far,I would have looked after myself a bit better.
Cheers,
Rich.
the cowboys used to be america's team, but alas not even with the big hole in the roof for jehovah to watch did it matter...not even the u.s. millitary could save the cowboy's last season.... and lo it did come to pass that mark cuban did say to the lard..."lard"..and the lard did reply.."yes mark?...and mark did plead with the lard.."dude, give unto the mavs full sponsorship and in return i shall sacrifice unto thee a luxury box.
"..the lard did rejoice and say unto him.."let there be dancers and um oh yeah!
go mavs!".
My pictures of the AA building are definately missing something.
Cheers,
Rich.
some time back i read something about a new time arrangement involving 15 minutes of time being turned in.
does anyone have the whole story about this?
does a person get a whole hour for only 15 minutes of preaching?
I had one of them, but the wheel fell off.
Cheers,
Rich.
i was just wondering if it would be fun to have a theme at my barbie this year.
you know, something like the texas "out of the cult and into the kilt" sort of thing.. maybe a german beer keller theme or a football shirt theme, whatever?.
what do you reckon?.
How about a rampant bikers from hell theme,Im sure I could give a good account of myself for half an hour,or untill cocoa time..
Cheers
Rich.
well, most of you know i have been on the job hunt again

DFWnonJW,now what is going on here, you talk to a georgous young lady,,and now you have her working the night shift!!!,How do you do it!!!!.
Seriously, good on you Jess, hope it works out ok for you.

i know things work differently in the us (and i would be interested to know how your licensing works) but here in the uk, drinking laws which were created in the first world war have only recently been through a major shake up - and pubs which previously had to close at 11pm are staying open into the night on a license by license basis.. i was wondering how this has affected the "rules" given out from the platform.
the watchtower often criticised "discos" and that was easily applied in the uk as there only used to be basically two licenses 11pm or 2am (with a few exceptions).
depending on the congregation you would be definately be counseled or more harsh treatment / responsibilities taken or even judicially dealt with.
Oh well Ballistic.time for a pint I think!.
Cheers,
Rich.
today (april 25) was anzac day, a public holiday for most, but it means more than that to many australians.
it is a day when we remember those australians who fought in wars, in distant lands, for their country.
it is not a day to glorify war.
Both my grandfathers fought in WW1,one being in the Royal Flying Corps, and the other in the Royal Horse Artillery, who was gassed on the Somme and survived untill 1960,two years before I was born,so I never new him,I was fortunate with my other grandfather(R.F.C),as he lived to the ripe old age of 90,and died in 1975,so I heard the'airoplane story',and what a story it was.
My father fought in WW2,in the R.A.F as a bombardier(bomb aimer), alongside Kiwis and Aussies, who he has always spoken very highly of,and I believe he is still in touch with one or two after all these years.
As you say Prisca,Lest we forget.
Take care,
Rich.
