They'll probably try to skirt it by trotting out the old line about "hating the sin, but love the sinner" - I think that probably is about as close to the edge of legality without being identifiable hate speech? (although it really is)

inactive ones going back...
by monis1 ini have quite a big group of friends who were all in the cong together when we were teens.
about 75% of them stopped going or were df'd right after high school.
it is a varied group; a couple are staunch apostates, some dont care one way or another, and another handfull are fully "worldly", but still believe it is the truth.

Maybe some elders are taking seriously the recent push from Circuit Overseers to contact inactive JWs?

Why the Nov. 2014 Study WT could be a good thing
by Apognophos inhey guys.
i am seeing a lot of flak on the forum over this study wt, and rightly so, as it's rather creepy.
but i'd like to suggest an alternate way of looking at this upcoming series of articles -- as an opportunity.

I wish I could afford to go on vacation. Maybe I could just hide in my basement for a month.
Oh wait...

stupid statement in watchtower about appointments of elders
by hoser inafter going through all the processes of how they appointed elders in the past they say this:.
"the elders in turn would inform the newly appointed men of their appointment, asking them if they were willing and actually qualified to accept the assignment.
so after qualifying the man you ask him if he is qualified.. .

Same thing happened to me being announced as an MS too - bundled into the back of a car a few mins before the meeting started, with no idea why they were asking me questions.

Achan teaches us stealing is wrong, but wanton genocide A-ok?
by BU2B inthis week on the tms, there was a talk about achan.
how i didnt see how out of wack the jws moral compass is earlier i do not know.
achan stole some valuables from jericho and for this him and his whole family was murdered in a brutal fashon and burned up by fire.

I always thought it was strange with Achan that he stole garments - it seems like kleptomania.
Presumably they would be immediately identifiable as not being Israelite garments, perhaps in their quality, but very likely lacking in the fringes and blue thread.
There is no way he could ever have worn the garments in public, and he couldn't really trade them with Isrealites either, so what was he planning to do with them?

What Could Hacker Do To The JW.Org Site?
by frankiespeakin ini really don't know anything about what hackers do.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/hacker_(computer_security).
in the computer security context, a hacker is someone who seeks and exploits weaknesses in a computer system or computer network.
hackers may be motivated by a multitude of reasons, such as profit, protest, challenge or enjoyment.

Probably the easiest thing would be DNS poisoning to get it to redirect users to jwfacts or something. The org might catch on pretty quick though.
