All of them, it felt more like they were prepping me to be a sales person to peddle their literature.

An Interesting Question for the Board...
by AGuest ini just saw this done on a tv show and was intrigued by the answers (almost unanimously yes).
"yes, but my husband is about to retire so i'm going to have to start telling him the truth!".
"ohhh, yes - if my husband knew the truth he'd need medication!".

I never hide from my husband what is spent, but I do hide what we save. That man does not believe in saving for a rainy day.

Is the Jehovah's Witness religion Christian?
by Zagor Almanah inis the jehovah's witness religion christian?the answer to the question is, "no.
it is not christian.
" like all non-christian cults, the jehovah's witness organization distorts the essential doctrines of christianity.

To wrap it up in a nutshell, the Watchtower is not Christian, but I feel that there are Christians who are in it. I also feel that God will call his children out from that place.
Every Memorial they deny Christ when they don’t partake of the bread (Christ’s flesh) and the wine (Christ’s blood), when one denies Christ, that is a very satanic ritual.

Looking Back, Did You Notice Many JWs Had Drinking, Drug or Mental Issues?
by minimus inas an elder, i saw many people that were affected by booze, drugs and mental health issues.
a lot of witnesses fought depression and turned to other things when they realized they couldn't keep up the pace and find inner happiness with what they did do..

While I was in the JW cult, I battled depression, and nearly committed suicide. My whole time in the cult was hell. I dealt with every form of abuse from my parents. The only thing that kept me from losing my mind was that I learned how to meditate at a very young age. I’m not talking about the type of meditating the watchtower wants their people to do, but the type that actually cleared my mind of everything. One time I got caught by the witch who gave birth to me, and she ranted and raved on how I was doing something dangerous.
The amount of prescription drugs that woman took was a lot, she even told me that when I am her age, I too would be taking medication like her. It was at that point I told her no way, I would never ever put that poison in my body. I will be turning 44 in January, and the only medication I take is for the occasional headache, and even then it is not very often. I refuse to ever be like that witch….I would rather use the B word, but I don’t know if it would get censored or not. I really can’t stand her at all.
I once knew a woman after she became a JW; she ended up taking medication for depression. She was a JW for several years, and eventually left it. About a year after she left, she stopped taking those medications, and she learned that the cult was the reason for her depression.
As a JW, I remember that most of everyone I knew was on some form of medication, for one reason or another, mostly for mental health reasons.

Actually I hate to tell you this, but when it comes to teens and cutting it is not abnormal behavior. I had to deal with this in my eldest son last school year. Once I was finally able to get him to talk about it, I had learned that there are a lot of teens who do this every year. His reason for doing this was, and this is his word, “To see how far I (his mother) would go with this.” When I had noticed the slashes on his arms, and there were quite a few, I had taken him to the emergency room. He ended up spending the night, because he refused to speak with anyone about what was going on. Finally the next morning after I showed back up, he still had not spoken to anyone. I asked the doctor if I could speak to him alone, and they granted my request. I asked him why he is not talking, and he told me that he does not like discussing his problems with people. I then told him that he does not answer a few basic questions that they are planning on putting him in a mental institution. I went on to tell him; there he will be forced to talk about this. He did not like hearing that, and knows that what I tell him is the truth. I have always been honest with my children in everything. Once the doctor came back into the room, he finally opened up and told them why. In his case, he just wanted to see how far the adults would take this problem, and he never expected it to go this far.
After that night I learned a few things. There are a lot of teens who do cutting, anyone who is reading this, please check your teen’s arms, legs, and other places that they can hide. Both of my sons wear long sleeve shirts, and jeans even in the summer, and that was how he was able to hide what he was doing to his body. After that for quite a while I locked up all my husband’s knives in a safe, and only just recently brought them back out.
You did well in telling your son to report it to the counselor; because that was the only way it was brought to my attention. If my son’s school did not call me, I don’t know how long my child would have kept doing this to himself.
I have noticed that after this, my son has finally balanced out in his emotions, before they were….well let’s just say very moody and cranky, but with him, he was even like that as a baby.

Sparlock Child's Toy Makes Jehovah Sad!
by frankiespeakin inwell according to the governing body aka> jehovah's spokesman for the entire earthly population, a toy such as sparlock that is in the posession of small children who's parents are jws makes jehovah "sad".. well if that is true then jehovah needs to see a psychiatist for depression caused by unreasonableness and phobias.
if this little child toy makes him sad, and prone to wrath and murder, as biblical accounts show him wipeing out vast portions of the human and animal populations when his sadness hits major proportions, he also needs to take some anger management courses to get a handle on his sanity and riegn in his jealousy which seems destructive and out of control at times.. it is no idle speculation that if jehovah finds sparlock offensive and makes him depressed, he's got some serious mental issues, but realistically this sadness is all a projection of the governing body and shows them to have the issues that they are projecting on a imaginary figure whom they call jehovah.
in other words the currant governing body are a bunch of mentally sick bastards in a delusional state of mind..

You have every right to be angry; I would have been as well. When they say stuff like that, it just proves to me even more that they are nothing but wicked.

Hello, it’s been a long time since I was an active member to this forum. Life had gotten busy, and I had forgotten my old log in information. It was 11 years, and 3 computers ago when I had made my original account here. So I would like to introduce to you who I am.
When I was very little, the woman who I now refuse to call mom became a JW. I grew up in that cult, which I now hate with a passion; to me it is a very disgusting and Satanic. My husband also grew up in the cult as well. If you noticed the 2001 after my name, it is the year both my husband and I had officially left it. Once we had finally figured out that the organization is nothing but a pack of lies, a heavy weight that had been weighing me down had been lifted. To me they are nothing but a publishing company under the guise of being a Christian religion, using slaves to peddle their propaganda. Yes I use the word slaves, because they do not pay those people to do what they do for them. Yes I was a regular pioneer for a few years, back when they required them to put in 90 hours a month.
Even though relatives who are still active member are to have no dealing with those who have left, the woman who gave birth to me (her words, not mine) would still send me letters and talk to me on the phone, but she would refuse to visit me in person. Every so often she would ask me if I am planning on coming back, and when I would tell her no, she would cut all contact with me for a while. Just about when I would think I would never hear from her again, I would get a letter or a phone call from her again. This happened for the next 7 years, until I finally ended all contact with her. When my husband and I bought and moved into our home I made that my fresh start from her, and turned it around on her. I guess you would say that I have shunned that manipulative woman. It was the best thing I have ever done for my mental health, besides getting out of that cult. My sister, who has also left the JWs, had gone to a funeral only a few days ago, where that woman was also. I was not there; I refuse to be in the same location as her. My sister’s dealing with that witch left her with a bruised, and dislocated arm, and a ruined blouse, and proving to me that woman has not changed one bit. My sister by the way is in her 30’s, and is engaged to get married to her second husband.
When I left, the last thing that woman told me to my face was now that I left Jehovah’s organization that my marriage would end, and that my life would basically go to hell. But the complete opposite happened. At that time, my husband was planning on committing suicide, because the stress that his own JW relatives and the cult was putting on him, both were making him feel like he was a worthless piece of crap. After leaving, the bond between my husband and I actually grew stronger, we just celebrated our 19 th wedding anniversary in September. Our children had also become so much happier after getting away from it. It is interesting on what they still can remember from the days with their own dealing with the cult. Both of my boys, the eldest is almost finished with high school, and the other is not far behind, tell me several times each year that they are very thankful that I had loved them enough to get them away from that. Most of the time both my husband and I just go about our lives as normal, but then there are days, memories and emotions (not good ones either) of our time in it would surface. It is during those times I am very thankful that I have a partner in life that fully understands what I have dealt with.

"To the dear women we have on this site - what did you do when you found out your hubby or boyfriend was looking at porn?"
It does not bother me when my husband looks at it, or watches it. Now this is why I say that. My husband and I have been married 19 years. Most women say that they fell betrayed, but that is not how I feel about it. My husband uses it as a tool in learning new ways to do things.

Can I give you a little suggestion? Please look up information on the internet about Alkaline vs Acid. Cancer is caused when a person's body becomes unbalanced, when they have too much acid in their system. If you can turn it around by looking up foods and beverages that you would consume, the cancer will go away.
