High Insulin levels ?

dear friends.

my doctor did a whole battery of bloodtests on me recently (i fainted/lost conciousness a week ago and was admitted to hospital with bloodpressure 195/110 and no i wasn't reading the watchtower at the time !

)...yesterday i got my results back.......all normal exept my insulin levels !!

You should call your doctor and ask him what he says about your insulin levels. I'm not a doctor and I'm not sure if you should get medical advice like this from a ExJW-DB.

Unusual things that happen during prayers

it's a nice warm summer in a welsh sea-side town and the chairman is giving the concluding prayer.

he starts to slow down and then there is a pause.

it lasts long enough to make you open your eyes and lookup in time to see him wobbling backwards and forwards.. two brothers leap to the platform and catch him as he is about to pass out but then, in a rediculous scene, instead of helping him to a chair they prop him up between them and one of them carries on with the prayer!

my first ex husband always insisted we change based on which side was closer to the door.

The TRUTH for dummies. Chapter 1

being only newly freed from the wts, there are many people who were my friends that i would like to be able to explain the truth about many of the points raised on this board.

so i have decided to compile a publication that i can mail to them with short succinct, hardhitting reasoning on areas where the wts is misleading them and also areas where they are saying one thing but practising another.

i would like to be able to limit the explanations to one topic per page with the hope that if there is not too much too read they may just bother to read it.

I don't have the link anymore regarding tho whole issue I had with the cross/stake topic. But I'll give a summary.

WT says he died on a stake because original word, meant single upright pole. They give a quote from some historian saying they used upright poles to torture people. The thing that pissed me off about it is they neglected to put the entire quote up. They totally left out the sentence about romans converting to a cross by the time of Jesus. Its an obvious misquote to further their beliefs, and to give "evidence" for it.
