I watched the first half, but Simpsons came on and i know where my priorties are...
Glad to hear that the husband was convicted! That whole cult (like lots of other cults) make me sick.
.
i'm not sure which religion or if it is about multiple religions... but dateline is doing a program about a distructive cult and it is starting right now,.

it was about us patriotism.

i'll add mine later.. i will say, great writing and this show just keeps getting better.
I really liked when they were escaping from Alcatraz and Lisa said "Lets swim to SF" and Homer replied "No Way. I cant afford that, we'll swim to Oakland!"
anything that brings such enjoyment to your life that it is almost an obsession that you are constantly hunting and searching for?
i collect pieces made my marjolein bastin.

1. Break your hand.
2. Hold a training class in a training room that doubles as a break room.
3. Move the break tables so you have room for the class.
4. Finish up the class at 5 and not have enough time to move the table back. (I cleaned up everything else up)
5. Make a smart ass apology to the email circulating through the department about the person who didnt move the table back.
6. Get some cookies as an apology :)
7. Feel a bit guilty, but the cookies sure help with that.
the husband of a sister attended the public talk and the visiting elder came down hard on "unbelievers" and "worldly" people.
he spoke about how miserable it is for faithful sisters to be married to such "worldly unbelievers" because they cannot share the same spiritual goals.
this man recently had started to attend some meetings because his wife pretty much begged him to.
Well thats how the dubs feel, why should they hide it. If they made their beliefs clear and open from the beginning instead of sugar coat them, people would have knowledge of exactly what they are getting into, before its too late!
So...If someone loses a nose in a car accident, do they lose their ruling Elder Powers Responsibilities?
this recently concluded sale on ebay prompted a question on nature of the secondary or ``collectors'" market for old and out-of-print wt literature.
apparently, it's become a fairly well-established collecting speciality.
as do collectors in the more established collectible sectors of, say, coins and postage stamps, one would imagine that in time the players would sort out issues relating to ``fair market values" of the various old books and other material, their relative rarity, etc., and that collectors guides, reference sources or price lists would begin to turn up.
I know a cheaper place to get firewood if anyone is interested! You can fill a truck for just $25.
i met a ex-jw this week who left the borg 20yrs ago.
his kid was a hemophylliac and needed frequent blood transfusions etc.
fortunately his child grew into a rather normal adult with the aid of modern medicine.
is he making good money off of it?

rebel.
I love sin as much as the next ex-jw :)
You'll realize that people in the [real] world aren't nearly as hateful as people in dub-land. we'll get in arguments/discussions here, but it usually cools over after a couple glasses of beer are shared,
i can't believe la toya got voted off.
jasmine seems to be a very sweet girl, but to keep her and vote off la toya is nuts.. i am hoping with it getting down to just 3, that there aren't enough voters in hawaii to keep her in the competition.
if she wins the whole thing, one of the other girls will have been robbed.. i think simon should rethink his scathing, hurtful comments.
the pretty one got voted off first! If they want pretty, why is fantasia still there. I wince every time I see her face and her voice buggs the hell outa me. The whole contest is BS anyway.
