I think all forms of punishment are wrong. You can hurt the kids feelings by yelling at them, which can lead to serious mental disorders. Physical abuse is out too, because that causes pain too. I think that kids should just be hugged all the time, whether they do good or bad.
Ok, now I'll turn the sarcasm off.
So, what kinds of punishment are suitable for kids? Nothing physical I take it. Is yelling still OK? Should children be lectured in a monotone manner? I don't have kids so I'm not up to speed on the current disaplining tactics that are allowed today. Can someone fill me in?
