  are there any sites with collections of governing body memes?

  i see memes as a very effective way of getting the truth about the truth across without lengthy debate.

  an effective meme is point and shoot since comedy holds the attention, jolts logic, is memorable, and is more likely to be viral.. something like this: http://t.qkme.me/3674l2.jpg.

  i am so out of touch with tv shows and i have got a lot of catching up to do.. some-one suggested dexter and it was fantastic and what an ending.

  Check out Revolution on NBC. You can catch up on season 1 online. Season 2 begins on March 25th :-)

  Last Resort opened great with season 1, but was cancelled :-( I guess for political reasons.

  i can't come out until the summertime.

  in the mean time, i have to feign interest like i want to stay so i don't end up homeless.. .

  i can't sit at the meetings without getting visibily irritated.

  It's all about acting.

  1. Practice your 'kingdom smile' and talking points when idle.

  2. Glance through the material prior to meeting (I can mark all the correct answers to an entire watchtower study in 5 mins so my blank pages don't stand out, even though I know it's a load of horse sht).

  3. Give compliments...lots of compliments for the slightest thing you can find: Brother X fumbles through the bible reading or a talk, put on that 'kingdom smile', go over and give him the warmest two-faced compliment you can muster.

  4. When at meetings, look studious, but let your imagination help you pass the time. Do your accounting, think about where you would like to vacation, think of ways to expose the wbts and wake up friends and family, think about what it would be like to get up under the skirt of hot Sister Sarah Smith*.

  *some names have been changed ;-)

  Will the 'Make Good Use of Our Official Website' discussion backfire?

  i'm a born in jehovah's hostage, and am still a hostage until i can wake my family up (wishful thinking i know).

  i'll formally introduce myself later.. for now i have some burning concerns about the service meeting part for the week of december 24, 2012.

  HAHAHA!! Label! By directing people to the INTERNET they have set up a worldwide jw entrapment kit! I've heard about, and I can see far more of those types of ambushes happening. Glad to know you and some close to you are out. I still have to test the waters slowly, since I don't know if most of my friends are bluffing, or have found out they have been had by the WBTS.

  what would be ideal is a dedicated wiki.

  nothing that will alarm the average jw at a glance, but definitions which will help them see the flip-flopping of doctrine, and help to wake them up quickly.. for instance outlining the stand on blood and how the doctrine has flip flopped over the years from zero blood to more and more of it, citing dates, and quoting articles in chronological order.. or the view on higher education, and quotes, and links to scans of watchtower and awake articles from the mid 1900s to present.

  What would be ideal is a dedicated wiki. Nothing that will alarm the average jw at a glance, but definitions which will help them see the flip-flopping of doctrine, and help to wake them up quickly.

  For instance outlining the ‘stand’ on blood and how the doctrine has flip flopped over the years from zero blood to more and more of it, citing dates, and quoting articles in chronological order.

  Or the view on higher education, and quotes, and links to scans of Watchtower and Awake articles from the mid 1900s to present. For instance

  "If you are a young person, you also need to face the fact that you will never grow old in this present system of things. Why not? Because all the evidence in fulfillment of Bible prophecy indicates that this corrupt system is due to end in a few years. Of the generation that observed the beginning of the "last days" in 1914, Jesus foretold: "This generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur."-Matt. 24:34. Therefore, as a young person, you will never fulfill any career that this system offers.   Clarity, mathematically it's a loosing battle for them. They don’t endorse any other websites, and are actively trying to shut them all down. Other ‘jw’ websites pro or against tend to have a slew of small articles chock full of their buzz words, words which witnesses are more likely to search for. At the same time jw.org is updated at a relatively slower rate, and the articles contain an ever increasing amount of fluff in which the brainwashing rhetoric is contained. Thus you have a growing library of fast growing anti-Watchtower content containing their keywords, and showing up ahead of, or just below jw jargon searches.

  I don't understand the prohibition on beards though. They depict almost ALL bible characters with long flowing or stubby, rugged beards. Aren't they trying to mirrow the mythical 'faithful ancient servants'? Why aren't modern dubs allowed to do the same?
