The minining industry is hurting for help in the Northern States, when I get more posting priviledges I can explain why some great jobs are in North Dakota, South Dakota. Why do we bring in help from other countries when our citizens and residents are unemployed. Where are you willing to move to make more money, some of these companies have generous plans with health and retirement. Is your health still in tact physically and mentally, you appear young from the photo you post here.

Now that I am the "mark", I woud like some advice on, not so kindly telling this sister "I helped you last year and you offered me nothing, not even a fricken "Thank You Card'!
With my business I am use to various tasks of all opperations of the business, the sister has money to hire a consultant to help her clean up her mess, but think's I should be the one to use my free time (I work ten hours a day, service and meetings burn up the rest of my feeble life). I feel stupid I opened up Pandora's Box and she will not stop calling my house. How can I stop the user from bothering me, she is telling the friends at the Kingdom Hall I owe her help, she has a reputation for burning through people's time without ever offering a penny!
How would you put a end to this, I feel like Dumby for helping her in the first place, instead of keeping my mouth shut while she whined and whimpered about her money and husband problems, out jump's the words "I can help you." I thought it would take only a few hours, because of her needy nature it took hours and hours of time, because she could not understand the simple explanations I used, I started to use Crayolas with Sock puppets leading to more time to sit down and hold her hand through a easy business process. How do I destroy the Frankenstein of endless phone calls, letters and complaints to the elders that "Aunt Connie promised to help me and now she is hiding from me!" I helped her once, and told her to find someone else and she won't leave me alone. I wish I could say '' off!.
My ten posts are up, any advice on avoiding or putting a end to the black-hole of 'I need you help" phone calls would be appreciated. I can't comment or thank you until the clock resets on the board in ten hours.

Satanus we had a police chief in Bell, California going to court to sue for his $500,000 a year pension. The highest paid worker in California last year were two Dentist making close to $700,000, we praise our State for opperating at peak inefficiency!
San Jose Mercury had a story of a local Fire Chief and his annual pension of $450,000 and his replacement will start his salary of $350,000 per year. Police and Fire Chiefs are making close to $500,000 in large cities here, our state is in bad straights.

I will provide "Old Bound Volumes" and "Modified CDs" as Raffle Prizes. I took home the six bottles of unopened wine and crackers from the Lord's Evening Meal, why do we call it a meal when nobody eats or drinks (except one person)? I have some things we use to dump on newbie JWs, hubby is great at guilting rising stars of the importance of owning their own for real "bound volumes", treasures future elders can hold in their hands (instead of Xbox,Sony or Wii-game controllers) to fill their Witness Library (or else these treasures might end up in the dump, my husband get's a tear in his eye until the young brother finally decides to put the apple and orange boxes full of dustry B.V.s in his small apartment.) making them a potential "celebrated watchtower scholar candidate". Sadly I heard some of you have decided to use the "bound volumes" as filling for your pet hamsters or rabbits. The paper the Society used make's a great filling for your "cat litter box" too.
Please come to my Raffle, we have wine, water and crackers (Bring your own cheese with some dried kosher meats) for a chance to win all the boxes of "Bound Volumes" I have collected from cleaning out all the garages of old crazy Witnesses whose worldy kids wanted nothing to do with the valuable treasures their parents and grandparents valued as gold. I wonder how many prophets of old, first and second century christians spent most of their time finding ways to avoid making contact with human beings? The sister who ate and drank (boy, can she swallow or chug it down!) at our Memorial spends most of her time driving in circles and she return's to the same visits over and over each week to fluff her hours! What make's her worthy of ruling over the angels and mankind? The biggest hardship she encounters is staying at a Motel 6 every year at the District Convention, poor thing can tell the Apostle John and Paul how rough she had it and how diffucult it was to eat a Continential Breakfast instead of a Traditional Buffet Breakfast with Crepes and Waffles and a Omlette Bar.

@Bobcat: why does the organization use a strange theology to exclude 99% of it's membership with poor reasoning and no support from the Bible? How can I explain to someone who is trapped by the Society's reasonings "I don't have the heavenly hope", "My heart tells me I am not part of the New Covenant" and "Jehovah made us to live on the Earth, not in the Heavenly realm." Whether we are going to Heaven or remain on the Earth as servants of God, how is the Watchtower able to adroitly rob people of a hope they have no authority to say "you are or you are not going to be with Christ in Heaven." What reasons would you use to help someone dependant on the Organization and are afraid to partake of the bread and wine out of fear.
Jehovah God said everyone would become part of his holy nation in Isaiah 56 including the eunuchs and non Isrealites. Jesus Christ must have known the promise his Father Jehovah God made to everyone, not a single individual was left out of the future blessings to come. I know I am not suppose to read literature outside of Organization's material but the Organization is silent on the "Quiet Centuries" 400 B.C.E. to John the Baptist's arrival.
It was during the period of Hellenistic influence the Jews became very paranoid and keep themselves as reasonably distant from the Gentiles as the social norms permitted. I think the silent period was scary because it felt like Jehovah had left Isreal, the prophecy of Daniel and the coming Messiah was hundreds of years in the future. The Jews must have been lonely, Greek influences (naked bathhouses, naked gyms, naked olympic events along with Greek religions and customs) were gobbling up the Jewish way of life. Antioch Epiphanes tried to eliminate all vestiges of the Jewish God, by killing a Pig on the alter, making it unclean and insulting the true God. How could the Jews remain faithful and clean when it seemed the World was absorbing all their culture?
1. Revolt against the religions of the day (now Christendom) and seclude yourself by socializing with your own people who believe what you believe.
2. Hide the name of the Most Holy God (Jehovah, Yahweh, ????) because of your fear of others using the name in vain.
3. Refining your religion to only allow those willing to undertake a "death mission" (Maccabean Revolt, Hycranus) with suicide missions against the Selucians and Jews that wanted to keep their position even cursing their own God. Fine members of the Revolt are like Pioneers and Publishers who preach and allow themselves to be caught by unfriendly rulers who would kill them, we have examples of Witnesses dying for no good reasons other than bragging rights for the Watchtower and their lazy hands unwillling to preach themselves (Do as I say, not as I do" Rutherford).
4. I heard one Jewish scholar say the leaders of the revolt and fight to return to a true religion, might have allowed the Jewish priests and Levites to promise the "fighters" a position of "ruler or receive a higher honor from Jehovah than the average rank and file Jew. Our modern day Pioneers and Publishers who died in the battle (like the brother who died handing out Invites, Bus Load Of Assembly Goers in Spain? ect...) are promised or it's hinted they might get a "better ressurection".
5. Luke 22:13-19 and Isaiah 56:1-14 teach all who are involved in the great spiritual war, are promised the same reward (less a few who Jehovah will allow to rule as kings and priests), when did Jesus Christ say that his Father changed his mind about treating all the same with some receiving a lessor reward? I am lost from the first poster's post, where do these men get crazy ideas like that? I did this research last night and tried to figure out when Jehovah started to seperate people into 'two classes', when did the words he had Isaiah write down change?

We had a fifty-six year old partake of the emblems last night, She is not the most outgoing Pioneer or hospitable woman. Jehovah has a strange sense of humor when he chooses some of the meanest members of the Kingdom Hall to become the "kings and priest" to rule of Spiritual Isreal. I am a real Bitch with a negative attidude, she makes me look like Mary Poppins with a touch of Pollyanna. What hardships has sister B gone through? The greatest hardships she might encounter is Macy's running out of her shoe size or not getting a new purse every month. I don't see the great sacrfices James, Paul and Peter endured and she is going to be one of them in Heaven? I was kind with my studies and other interested ones, they sat by me and I faked kindness and love. I hate the effect you are having on me, I can't treat them with contempt after talking and listening with all the good people of JWN. My heart might be changing from Black to Purple?

The only possible reason to come to JWN would be to get leads or names of people as yourself and Mouthy who could provide the student with a real person and real facts and all the problems (small and large) that go along with being labled a "ex-JW". Cagefighter your job is considered one of the most stressful jobs in the United States. I am going to play the role tonight, just this one night, as a kind Aunt Connie(means comfort) with some advice you can take or leave.
If you really kicked the Crystal out of your life for the last ten years, you are exceptionally disciplined and talented. Jobs working in "Customer Care Centers" with telemarketing agencies are considered as stressful as Air Traffic Controller Jobs. You said you were involved with "Collections" and "Feel like you sold your soul", have you checked out some local clubs and talked to any musicians or bands needing a guitar player? The good music you play for your audience could negate any negative Karma or Juju you feel is building up from doing your job. Play songs to bring happiness at night and do your job during the day!
How do you feel after your long day in the cubicle, good or bad? Is the pay great? Would life be more enjoyable "waiting on tables" during the day to get your foot back in the spotlight again? What do you want out of life, stability with humdrum existence or living on the edge looking for a break? Is it possible the drugs you left behind might come hunting you down if you rejoin your old scene? I watched a documentary on Aerosmith and the battle against drugs and in-fighting with the band, urban legends said Stephen Tyler was living in a Junkie Apartment when Run-DMC helped pull him out of Hell.
Those ten years are gone, your not going to get them back and if you keep this same shit up your going to be looking back at age 41 asking why you did not follow your heart when you were 31 years old. It's time to grow up! You can have your cake and eat a sliver of it too. Why can't you work your job and play in a band at night? The Beatles played over eight shows a day in Germany before they were discovered, why can't you play one or two with your job? You must have some good skills to work for a "collection agency", they don't let clowns who fell off the turnip truck work these jobs, what is keeping you from reaching for a part-time music gig? Please don't waste your talent and let another decade pass you by, the regrets will grow even stronger the longer time passes you by. You are still young, how is your energy level? Can you burn the candle at both ends to keep up the Night Scene while getting up for the Day Job?

I was told to shut up when I asked about the "New Generation" light, women are to be seen but not heard. This topic is what brought me to JWN, in 1984 I was debating what we called "the holy rollers" or "born againers" and he told me "The Watchtower Organization is a cult and they have no choice other than changing the definition of the "Generation" because their out of time". Born-Again Betty was right, we changed the definition of "generation" twice, in less than fifteen years the Governing Body out of self-preservation changed the "Generation" into a convoluted nightmare that still(as of 3-27-2013), nobody can answer or dares ask any of the higher-ups why is this such an enigma. "anything we wanted" and my husband looked at me and said "please don't, just please do not go there!"
Anne, my experience when a woman has brought very good questions scares the elders because the majority are skates, they do not study their lessons deeply, some would randomly use tracer-outline markers on a random sentence with their magazines so they appeared to have studied their lessons. i wrote the talks using the outlines for several brothers with poor study habits even though the outlines did the majority of the work. Sorry we lost you because the elders were too judgemental and refused to do their job of ministering to the sheep of Jesus Christ.

I also have a cousin who is an elder who ended up discussing in great detail some issues. Bottom line is he figured I must be demonized and have studied the most advanced apostte materials. That is, he didn't think I was coming up with these questions on my own. Then he decided, even though he said what I was telling him seemed to make sense, that whatever I came up with, somewhere in some Watchtower or WTS publication they had an answer to everything that effectively contradicted me. In other words, again, he didn't take responsibility to know this for himself.
The average witness is brain dead. They don't even known their own teachings and they figure if the contradictions don't bother the WTS, then it's not their concern. In their hearts they know this is the "true religion" and they don't see any others, so they are willing to deal with the errors."

Lady Lee, since you have been here since the start of Jehovah's Witnesses.net, how often do members like Booker-T, Papa Pump, The Rock, Andre The Giant, Roudy Ronney Piper, The Wild Samoans, The Iron Sheiks show up with claims of being near their "Thesis (Non Thesis for B.T.) or Dissertation in Sociology, Family Psych or Forensic or Group Dynamics Psychology? I know I have read through many here, it's the same old song and dance of "wanting to do surveys, censuses or claiming they are writing a book about the effects the Watchtower and Friends had on their everyday psyke" out of the goodness of their heart. The follow through is almost always zero and they disappear after engaging your fellow members and friends.
May I guess and say that Booker-T is working hard on his degree at Berkely University and UC San Fransisco trying to get a Master's of Science degree instead of a Master's of Arts. Booker-T is a bright young student who got his B.A. at 21 years old, now he is 23.5 years old and very close to his M.S. in Psychology, he is going to use this social scientific degree to help sooth all the issues practicing and non practicing Jehovah Witnesses are battling with everyday of their life. Book-T is our benefactor, thank you Booker-T for giving so much of your life to help all the num-num members with any type of exposure to the Watchtower Bible&Tract Society, we need a hero like you!
