  if you have read some of my posts, you realize that i am a very complex individual.

  when i was a jw, that complexity made me extremely curious and inquisitive, with few avenues to find satisfaction.

  after years of trying to "incorporate" my true life's experiences with the jw belief system, (such as things that go bump in the night, and other unexplainable phenominon), and being told that such things were because i was being attacked by satan and his demons, i decided to look beyond the limited horizons of the borg dogma.

  Hi Sis,

  That is some list,I have done much more reading then is the norm for me.My interests now lie in trying to get a web site up with the help of Buf.We make so many useful items maybe it will be lucrative:)

  Vacation, Here I Go!!

  hello friends,.

  we are nearly all packed and ready to go on vacation.

  this week it's kentucky, and then back sunday night late, to do laundry and check on the cats, and then it's off to texas.. we so need this time away, and it will be good to see family we haven't seen in a very long time.. i'll have lots of catching up to do when i get back to this forum.. bye for now,.

  I AM SAD AND NEED SUPPORT

  my family has decided to shun me.

  last week my brother and my husband got in a heated debate and finally my brother asked him why he doesn't believe in the jw's and he said because there religion is based on a lie.

  well my parents found out and now have decided the best thing to do is shun me.

  Hello,

  yes,there are many here who are experiencing this unloving and so called christian unconditional love.It is there way of trying to get you to see there way,the only way according to the GB.

  It has been almost 3 months since my last shunning,the one before that back in the 80's lasted 12 years.Seems when my dad was living who was not a practicing JW died,my mama decided that it best to cut the ties once again.She said she knew associating with her girls was wrong and she had been a bad girl and had to straighten up if she wanted to secure her place in paradise.

  I continously shake my head and can visualize her dying and still waiting.

  She is 79.It is so sad and unloving,this control she is under of her of own choosing.

  I miss her...

  has anybody on the forum ever had a hysterectomy?

  i am getting one this winter.

  I had a "JOB" in 1977.Uncontrolled bleeding every month and a class 3 cervical cancer scare.I had already had my tubes tied in 1975 so the baby thing was not an issue.I turned 29 the day after the "JOB".It was done fanastically at John Hopkins Hospital.They left my ovaries and it was done vaginally,so I have no scars.When I go for pelvic exams DRS inquire about my last period and are amazed by the surgery.

  My daughter (34) has the same problems.She did not have a "JOB" but did get the latest alternative surgery(Endometrial Ablation).No more periods,no more babies and everything in tact.

  Hope everything goes well for you.

  I miss my cervix like crazee,the sexual feeling of a penis hitting it is gone.

  Sex is still great when my man can rise to the occasion

  What really irritates you?

  the following is what really irritates me:.

  i'm just about to tuck into a $100 meal when some ignorant b*****d lights up.

  when nobody lets me out of the side road onto the freeway.

  Heehee,what is most irritating too mepeople that are repeat offenders,people that are repeat offenders~realizing I forgot my check book at the checkout~cell phones in theaters,having to repeat myself,listen darn it!,forgetting to put coffee in the filter and making a pot of delicious HOT water,making a gallon of ice tea and realizing it is Maxwell Coffee,resetting clocks after a electrical storm,disappearing objects,it was JUST here moments ago,hiding things and forgetting where I hid them...this is a real pain when it is money.

  Did You Get Your Flu Shot?

  he didn't have any side affects, but my arm has been hurting since yesterday.

  I wondered why your arm was so sore and now I know.I never get the flu shot and have had a bad flu only once that I remember.Most persons I know get very sick when they get the shot.Pros and cons abound...

  because i have already done my research into "the bible thing", "the god" thing, "the jesus" thing, i tend to stay away from the doctrinal discussions.

  i don't judge anyone for his or her beliefs.

  but, i can truly understand why some are still in that "place".

  Very well said.How did you do the signature thing,mine has never worked

  I am enjoying my limb in life so to speak.I feel much wisdom in my heart.I believe that if we graciously ask of our creators they bless us with new found information and this allows us to see through the veil so to speak.Many secrets are being brought to our attention in the media with movies such as "Signs".We have to allow our eyes to see and believe.
