What happened immediately after your Judicial Committee was over?

whenever i went to my judicial committee (over 3 years ago), the elders opened with a prayer for jehbooboo's guidance.

then they followed up with their loyalty question, "do you believe in the faithful and discreet slave?".

of course i answered "no", and shortly thereafter i handed over my disassociation letter.

After being jacked around by the big three for nearly a year when they finally got down to the agenda of revenge they said I was to be DF'd and the proclamation of their victory would be read at the next SM. They told me under no circumstances was I to tell anyone before hand, but also that I should not talk to anyone either. What a load of horseshit!

Seeing as none of them really shave a git about me before that I let them know in the most colorful of language exactly what I thought of them. THAT was fun.

i know this has been covered in the past however i wish to bring it up again.. i was told that if hs wants a man appointed as a ms or "elder" there is nothing that any human can do to prevent it from happening.

so my question is to anyone who asks why i am rapidly fading... what is the reason to "reach out'?

if it is true that hs does the appointing then wth difference does it make what appears to the eyes of the partial judges who decide if one gets to be an even bigger suck up?

If it is true that HS does the appointing then WTH difference does it make what appears to the eyes of the partial judges who decide if one gets to be an even bigger suck up? it shouldn't make a hill of beans difference if one pounds on doors 1 hour, 10 hours, or 100 hours every month. It shouldn't make any difference if one reads the company line once a month, once a meeting, or flaps there hand in the air like a trained chimp every single question. Now if in fact what appears to the eyes of biased men makes a difference then how can it be said HS appoints. It can't! I know of a MS who violates nearly every one of the standards and it's okay because daddy is an "elder". HS? I don't think so.

elders wife swapping question

i hear of these stories of elders swapping wives, i remember when i was young hearing of three elders in florida doing this and getting dfed.

my question is this how is it possible to bring this up in conversation?

it seems impossible, how can there be multi elders that know each other willing and the wives?

I remember a pre-wedding party on the West coast back in the eighties I was personally at. A friend had bet me $100 that I couldn't go through the entire night without drinking anything alcoholic. As the evening wore on and others, including elders and MS got roaring drunk, wife swapping actually did happen. I remember one "sister" who was really hot had three different "brothers" in succession. I was pretty shocked. These days though I wouldn't think it would happen.

Were you a sought after associate? NO Were you often invisible? YES Did other Witnesses view you as "exemplary"? NO Then I happened to come into a substantial sum of money and it all changed over night! The strange thing was that I hadn't changed in any way. So much for the theory of a "loving brotherhood" and being impartial.

My ex-wife went on a holier than thou rant some years ago when a self righteous CO said JW's could not own any firearms because people don't need to hunt to eat so firearms are only for killing people. I told her I would rather stand before God on Judgement Day for killing some SOB that was trying to rape, maim, or kill a member of my family than for standing there watching them do it while spouting scripture at them.

This woman should have perhaps though had and used my favorite weapon...a Colt .45 model 1911 semi-auto. I'll bet the elder and elderettes would SAB (defecate a brick) if they knew I legally carry concealed at all times.

Girlfriend probably getting DF'd

so the local jc decided to df my girlfriend because of basically premarital sex.. she confessed few weeks back to the elders, and the judicial system had its wheels rolling.. they confronted her today, and eventually came to the conclusion described above.. .

she told them that she regretted our sexual acts, and that we wouldn't perform that kind of actions before we're married.. they talked with her about getting married etc.

a week before the jc.. now the reason they decided to df her was not the sexual acts itself, nor the lack of regret,.

It would seem to appear that repentance isn't really what matters. In the congregation where I still attend for various reasons they tolerated and even made light of a guy who cheated on two wives, was openly habitually falling on his face drunk in public, graphically described how he wanted to disembowel other members who had "screwed him over" by things like demanding to be paid for work they did for him, publicly flew the bird at the US flag, embezzled from his business and then cursed the government for penalizing him. He bragged about being a multi-millionaire and made substantial contributions to the KH and elders. The only thing that happened to him was that he was appointed MS.

Contrasted with that is a poor sister who has a physically and emotionally abusive non-jw husband. She drank alcohol a few too many times to cope and was hauled before the tribunal and PRed. Now she is the subject of gossip and innuendo.

So I guess it isn't really always repentance. As the first guy I told about said one time, "Go ahead and fornicate all you want. Just make sure to confess and make a big contribution. It'll be okay!"

Commenting at the Meetings

so i'm still going to the meetings...my spouse is still very much active...however, after i learned ttabtt...i feel like such a hypocrite in reciting (commenting) the wt writings and teachings at the meetings...in your own experience...how did you handle this situation?...and if you did comment, what did you say?...i still go out to service, however, i only use the bible and do not distribute wt literature...so far nobody has said anything lol.... .

I know I no longer comment because even IF I were to flap my hand up in the air no one would call my name anyway. I got "counseled" about my comments being too pointed. I was told some didn't feel comfortable with my comments because it sounded like I was being judgemental. Well excuse me! I guess they would have censored Jesus for calling the religious leaders of his day in effect sons-of-snakes! Not that I am comparing myself to Jesus of course. I'm just a cowboy with a love of God.

.....some of the things he did and got away with , to me now is unbeleivable , and maybe to you.. in all fairness he was well versed in the bible and very clever how he used it to put a critic to rest at the doors and in one instance when i was witnessing with him , he demoralised a pastor of his church .and i was impressed at that time.. but he had some strange ways , he was always looking for someone to break gods laws so to speak .he did set himself up as the policeman for enforcing gods law on the congregations .

( this is my description ) he was known to stand outside bros/sis.

homes to see if he could find something incriminating against them .

There's one in every KH.

One I remember some years ago was the presiding sheep herder at the time got up on stage and began ranting at everyone how if you beat the Bible into your kids there was no way they would ever fall out of the truth. He pontificated about how if a person used their mind and free choice and left the JWs when they got older it was because the parents were failures, and hadn't done a good job of teaching their children.

After the meeting I asked him if he really meant that it was the parents fault and that they were failures if their children left the teachings of God and Jesus. He said it was because the Bible says if you train a boy he won't leave it when he grows old, so it was the parents fault!

I asked him then to explain why the devil turned on God. He started screaming about me being apostate and it took three other men to pull us apart. That was too funny! Especially after all three of his spawn "fell away".

Where I am now one of the self-important sheep herders told me a few years ago I could never be anything more than basically a chair filler because I was reprehensible because I wasn't the husband of one wife, as I had been married more than once. (Rolling eyes)

Half a dozen years ago when I still gave a damn, I had the great "fun" of being on security duty for the money room at a DC. We were given red ID cards to wear out of sight under the regular JW badge. Anyone who wanted to get into the money counting room had to provide their ID with their signed red badge. If they didn't have one the instruction was, "No badge, no admittance!"

The real fun came when Brother I'm the DC chairman, and my s--t don't stink came strolling up with his nose in the air and was going to walk right past me. I knew the prick personally, and had had more than one run in with him over his idea that one couldn't be a JW and still be a cowboy. I stood up and blocked his way. He tried to brush past me and being that I am 6'3" and 230 lbs of working ranch cowboy he didn't make it very far. I told him, "Show me your money room ID." He got all pissy and said I knew who he was and as DC chairman he could go wherever he wanted. We had a pretty good argument going and I didn't back down. The upshot was he went to get "hire up" back-up. When he and the big boys came back they asked why I didn't let him in. I told them, "No ID...no admittance!" The deflated look on the idiots face was priceless when they took my side.

Greetings from a new member

greetings everyone.. just wanted to say hello to everyone, being a new member from western europe.. some may know me from another forum (eden, from e-jehovas-witnesses.com), but most don't, so this is my little intro.. male, in my early 40's.

still an active member in good standing of a jehovah's witnesses congregation in my country, and honestly not planning to change that status, despite my unorthodox beliefs.

sometime i will elaborate the reason why i don't feel i must leave.
