I have seen the total lack of respect for indiviuals safety, or compliance with best practices safety regulations by workers slaves at quick builds also. Usually the most blatant offenders were the "big wheels" in charge. Hypocrites!

Worker falls from KH roof during quick build
by piztjw ini heard through the grapevine that one of the slave laborers was walking backwards on the roof of the falls city, nebraska quick build this weekend and fell of the roof.
i heard he landed on his back and head and sustained some pretty serious injuries.. anyone in that area that might provide more information?

A question for my friends in the USA about cowboys.
by punkofnice inas a kid growing up in the uk we used to play 'cowboys and indians' and watch high chaparal and bonanza along with other cowboy films.
later, in the 70's kung fu would be shown with caine going through the 'old west'.
we even had a chocolate bar that was marketed with a 'cowboy' theme...milky bar.. as far as i know the 'wild west' as shown on tvdidn't actually exist.. are there people that believe it did?.

As a working cowboy I can say both these places are fairly authentic. BTW there is a great sign above the outdoor mens urinal that is full of cubed ice that melts and carries waste away, "Customers, the ice in this urinal is only occasionaly used to mix your drinks."

I need some input: I have come to the conclusion my wife blames me for her lack of spirituality
by goingthruthemotions inso lately my wife and i have been arguing alot.
not big arguments...but more of a bickering.. you see, over the last year i have stepped down as an ms and we moved halls.
last november was around the time i woke.. during this time we still have family studies....but only from the bible.

I would ask her if she believes every word in the Bible? If she says yes, then ask her to read Galations 6: 5. Then ask what part of that indicates that you, or anyone else for that matter, are responsible for her spiritual health.

Will JW rape victims die at Armageddon as apostates?
by Zoos inmany jw victims flee the "truth" after elders have raped them and covered it up.
doctrines aside, there would be no reason for one of these young victims to conclude the watchtower environment is god's arrangement on earth.. does the organization acknowledge this irreparable damage or will it write these victims off as apostates, slated for death at armageddon if they choose to get the hell out?.

Perhaps I am being paranoid, but maybe, just maybe, the "errors" were intentional? What better way to prompt a few questions or comments from the R&F. A perfect way to begin a separating work in the congregtions. Any who mention the "errors" will be branded as malcontents and complainers. I know I was personally questioned at great length on how and why I noticed the "error" in the RNWT in Numbers with the page headings for the chapters. The eldurr couldn't believe I might have found it on my own. "Where did you hear about that?", was his first question.

A New Feature of Assignment No. 3 for Brothers:.....Usually the school overseer will assign an assistant and the setting. The assistant should be a member of the student’s family or a brother in the congregation. Elders may choose their own assistant and setting. Undoubtedly, it will be encouraging for the congregation to see elders demonstrate the art of teaching with a family member or another brother.
And once again it becomes obvious that the eldurrs think themselves above the R&F! Jack-asses!!

The Bible thus indicates that a person may defend himself or his family if physically assaulted. He may ward off blows, restrain the attacker, or even strike a blow to stun or incapacitate him. The intention would be to neutralize the aggression or stop the attack. This being the case, if the aggressor was seriously harmed or killed in such a situation, his death would be accidental and not deliberate.
It may be a slow, fat slug, but my .45 ACP with PD ammunition would STOP the aggressor...permanently!

Revelation 20:7,8 “Now as soon as the 1,000 years have ended, Satan will be released from his prison, 8 and he will go out to mislead those nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Maʹgog, to gather them together for the war.
It will be interesting to see how they spin this. Now the old truth that Gog was Satan is the new lie. Or is the old lie now the new truth? In any case how can Satan gather the nations, who now are considered Gog, AFTERhe is loosed at THE ENDof the thousand years? Aren't they supposedly destroyed at Armageddon? They have made a claim based on Ezekial, and as a result have made a lie of Revelation.
