a lady walks into harrods.

she looks around, spots a beautiful diamond bracelet and walks over to inspect it.

as she bends over to look more closely, she unexpectedly farts.very embarrassed, she looks around nervously to see if anyone noticed her little woops and prays that a sales person was not anywhere near.as she turns around, her worst nightmare materializes in the form of a salesman standing right behind her good looking as well.cool as a cucumber, he displays all of the qualities one would expect of a professional in a store like harrods.he politely greets the lady with, good day, madam.

For some reason this joke reminds me of many of the JW teachings.

Three old men were walking down the railroad tracks when the 1st man asked the 3rd man, "Did you poop your pants?" The man replied, "No."

So they walked on and eventually the second man smelled it too, so he said, "Are you sure you didnt crap your pants?" The third man again said, "Im positive I didnt crap my pants!"

So they walked on longer. Finally it smelled so bad they pulled his pants down and said, "HEY! We thought you said you didnt crap your pants." The man looked at them and replied, "OH! I thought you meant today!"

3. Click Not on a public computer

4. Enter capcha code

5. Click login

Repeat as many times as needed to FINALLY get logged in.

Seems to be a bit of un-needed overkill on the login.

Am I the only one in the entire old JWN community that feels this waste of time is okay?

earlier in the week someone posted the potential value of the jw website based on visits and if they used advertisements.

many stated they would never do that but i propose they could.. besides their real estate profit making business model, they have the conventions as cash generating machines.

they give directions to their members to which hotels/motels to use.

That is the key. If jw.(B)org ~~accepted~~ solicited UNPAID adds from businesses for which they ~~suggested~~ ordered that the sheep patronize for some token discount (remember, most JW's are tightwads) they could accept a cash ~~kick-back~~ donation from those approved businesses.

What a wonderful arrangement from the GB...JW's think they got a deal on something, the organization gets money coming in, and businesses get a tax break for "charitable" contributions.

thank you for coming to my house so often because you were so concerned about me missing so many meetings.. ( actually, the only time you visited was when the circuit and district overseers were in town.

you really showed them how concerned you were about your sheep.

i now know that it is more of a duty than a concern.).

I made the mistake of trying to be supportive of a now ex-sister when she was still in who was in a similar situation as yours. We both caught hell from the eldurrs. They thought it was better that she be treated as you described and be pushed out, than to be treated with respect and compassion and want to remain in. Turns out it was better for both of us that we are both now either fully out, or at least only physically in for now.

I hear them yap on in prayers about, "let the ones we see missing from the meeting know we love them and miss them," yet they NEVER offer to call or drop by. They pray to be heard by men, and serve to be seen by men. Hypocrites is what they all are.

Men are not looking forward to becoming Elders or Ministerial Servants

i have noticed an apparently increasing number of men who are not interested in becoming ministerial servants or elders.

i also know of some that have voluntarily stepped down (which is my case) for no obvious solid reason.. i remember, during my teenage years or even during my twenties, the brothers were always looking forward to being appointed... although many still do, i have noticed there are many others with whom you do not know what the deal is.. since there is no freedom of speech within the organization, we remain in the dark about the motives and desires of everybody else.

i attend a congregation with only two ministerial servants, while it is full of men who do not seem to be willing to do more.. it is hard to tell exactly what is going on, since honesty is not possible while you are inside, but i am starting to think that more and more are becoming disillusioned.... .

Most of them are little, bitty .22's. Soon they will all be merely toy cap guns. A little noise, but no results.

Evidently it will be the GB. And of course we reasonably come to the conclusion that there really are no foolish virgins. the same "reasoning" was used in their so-called clarification of the F&DS and evil slave.

Elder Tells Study to stop using google for research ???

it might be that the watchtower has embraced the internet in recent years as never before but in private things are the same .watch this video as an elder strongly discourages a study from using the internet to get answers.shameless mind control from the same people who promote in any kind shape and form their version of online truth ,jw.org.. not many years ago they used to demonise the internet as the following quote from july 2007 kingdom ministry shows:.

Doesn't this qoute say it all? Everyone involved with jw.org is a stranger, yet they claim to be JW's. Is there any danger to letting children "associate" with these strangers via jw.org?

Way too funny! I know after I endured the WT study this morning one of the eldurrs commented about what a good lesson it was. I replied, "It sure was! I just haven't decided whether to be dazzled or baffled!" The blank look he gave me was priceless. He just didn't have a clue.
