The magazine change does not affect the study copy, just the field service public copy of the Watchtower and Awake.
The study copies will still have 32 pages each month.
this just in from the 2017 annual meeting:.
1. watchtowers and awakes won't be released regularly, at least three watchtower and awakes per year.
6 magazines a year.. 2. a new book is being released: remain in god's love, more of an update like how they did for the what does the bible really teach book.

Yeah, how things have changed
From the good ole days of everything in Brooklyn and wallkill and the GB with ties back to the board of directors. Barr, Barry, Booth, Ganges, Franz, Henschel, etc.
4 - 32 page magazines a month = 1536 pages a year
then it went to one Awake a month, and study and public watchtower for 1152 pages.
In 2013 they dropped the public to 16 pages for 768 pages
Then in 2016 it went to every other month for watchtower and Awake public for 576 pages
Now in 2018 it is 6 issues for public and 12X32 for study for 480 pages per year.
One quarter of what it used to be.
But no mention of how much money they will save as the reason, which we know it is.. Same with the yearbook which people get in print.
And they constantly mentioned that Jehovah blessed the move and location. The location is so it is less conspicuous and cheap land and the sale of the expensive NYC land.
i think everyone has the freedom to protest, they also have freedom of speech, these are two fundamental things that make america amazing.
but thinking rationally about what is going on with the nfl, therefore, i have an unfavorable opinion of the league, and the players, not their right to free speech, but their motive and execution of it.
constitutional freedom to protest ends at the workplace door too.
I hate the national anthem and pledge and don't understand why people are so enamored with them both. People standing and putting their hands on their hearts is like the Nazis. I support the players for not standing for it.

editor's note: due to the nature of this story we've changed the names of the parties involved.
I never agreed with that 1987 article. What good does telling on someone for the past do? They need to teach people to do right and not do wrong. If it is in the past, leave it in the past.
september 7, 2017 to all congregations in the united states branch territory re: donations for disaster relief work.
I agree with what the letter is saying. It is better to have a big pot where everything goes in that gets fuller than having a smaller pot that is less full and maybe won't have enough to do what needs to be done.
to jehovah's witnesses elders: blood transfusions are biblically supported: acts 15:20 says abstain from blood but 1 samuel 14:32-5 says saul's army ate unbled meat to not starve and no verses show god not forgiving them.
christ says god also forgave david's eating temple holy bread to survive and that god wants mercy not sacrifice.
(mt 12) the may 22, 1994 awake tells of 26 jehovah's witness kids who died without transfusions, and by common sense in massive bleeding as in car wrecks blood expanders won't save lives http://www.ajwrb.org.
rocketman, of course forgiveness possible. That is what Jesus was for, to be the better forgiveness. But I hate when people used that scripture and say that Sauls men did that. That was eating blood and it was against their law back then. And anyone who broke the law could offer sacrifices.

I hate when people use that scripture. Saul's men ate the unbled meet, but they offered a sacrifice to atone for that.
no one doubts jesus extensively spoke about god’s kingdom because he said: “i must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of god to the other towns also, because that is why i was sent.” (luke 4:43) yet christian sects are divided over the subject whether jesus used god’s name or not.. it is said that god’s name jehovah was revealed to moses.
however jesus knew moses was not trustworthy.
(mathew 19:8) moses born and brought up in egypt could have been influenced by egyptian knowledge.
We don't know whether Jesus used it or not. Just because it is not recorded as him using it in the Bible does not mean he didn't. The Bible does not record many things he say and the Bible records him as saying things he didn't. (Father, son and Holy spirit)
if, as jesus said, there is no marriage in the afterlife, will our sex drive be removed?.
sex without marriage is fornication, which is a no-no.. if i were young and healthy, being surrounded by young, healthy women, having the normal male libido would hardly be paradise..
Jesus' statement was referring to the ones resurrected to heaven. Spirit beings have no sex. But those on earth will do it.
i'm having a debate with someone on facebook who claims he came up with the term "borg" in reference to the wts back in the mid 2000s.
however i'm certain the term was used on h2o as early as 1999 as well as here when this site was first set up.. can anyone confirm that i'm not dreaming?
what's the earliest you remember seeing the term being used?.
Borg stands for Brookyn organization which is appropriate for the Star Trek reference because people in the organization lose their individuality and function as a collective.
