I've never done that simply because it is gross.

May 2019 Watchtower doubles down on the "Two Witness Rule" !
by stuckinarut2 inthis is simply disturbing and infuriating!.
the may 2019 wt has defiantly and arrogantly been released by the gb, and it is full of their disgusting excuses for not complying with authorities!.
(i have seen and read all the articles, but cant work out how to upload a link here - perhaps someone can assist?).

With all the hate for the 2 witness rule, why can't anyone explain why it is bad?
Jehovah put that in the Law along with the 9th commandment because he knew that humans both lie to hurt others and make mistakes in their facts, which hurt others.
And that is not limited to the Bible.
In criminal law Blackstone's ratio is the idea that:
It is better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent suffer.John Adams also expanded upon the rationale behind Blackstone's Ratio when he stated:
It is of more importance to the community that innocence should be protected, than it is, that guilt should be punished; for guilt and crimes are so frequent in this world, that all of them cannot be punished....when innocence itself, is brought to the bar and condemned, especially to die, the subject will exclaim, 'it is immaterial to me whether I behave well or ill, for virtue itself is no security.' And if such a sentiment as this were to take hold in the mind of the subject that would be the end of all security whatsoever
As he said, what is the point of being a good person if the accusation of one person can ruin everything?

Not One JW Ever Actually Dies "In the Truth"
by Solzhenitsyn injust a thought and perhaps this has been discussed before but no jehovah's witness ever actually dies in the truth.
pick a year, any year.
if a jw died in say 1920 or 2020 or whatever...the doctrines change so much and so fast that what is "truth" today is "untruth" the next within this religion.

You are soo off in this topic. The Truth is not and has never been about doctrine and their being static. The truth is a way of life. As the song 'Make The Truth Your Own' says "The Way of the Truth". It is a way, not doctrine. And people aren't disfellowshipped for what they believe.
I believe that Russia is the KoN and that in the preRussell doctrine that Jerusalem was destroyed in 587 but the Gentile Times began in 607.

I never doubted that it was Russia. Since the end of WWII, it was Russia and then Russia became the Soviet Union, so when the Soviet Union became ununified why would it stop being Russia? And in the past when the identity changed it did not go to no one. It stayed one way until it became another. So there is nothing new here. No hype.

The stuff JWs get right
by HowTheBibleWasCreated insince today there is a post about jws and science i thought it right to throw them a bone and see if they have anything right:.
1. round earth (lol).
2. old universe (13.7 billion years).
-
Rattigan350
OneeyedJoe. They never said the earth was 49000 years old. They taught that the creative days were 7000 years in length. But Gen 1:1 was accomplished before that started so God created the heavens and the earth. Bang. That is the big bang. Then an unknown time after that the creative days began.
The Bible agrees with science.

Printed vs Produced
by Rattigan350 inin the january 1, 2015 watchtower it says printing each issue 52,946,000 in 228 languages semimonthly.
in that 2016 #1 issue watchtower it says produced each issue 58,987,000 in 254 languages monthly.
what is the difference between printed and produced?.

So would the number listed as produced change with every download or view? That would mean the PDF is dynamic or is updated for each next copy.

I believe that Rev 12:6 and 14 is referring to the birth of the kingdom leading to the casting Satan out of the heavens. The woman would be cared for in the wilderness.

I've been thinking back how in the 70s and early 80s while growing up and attending meetings and assemblies, I don't remember anything about them or anything particular that happened. But what I remember is the softball games when several congregations got together, sledding parties, weddings and receptions. I remember camping at the conventions but not the conventions themselves. While they are so big on family worship, but the kids don't remember those things. They remember the extra-curricular activities with the congregations.
Fognomore, I am in the same boat as you are being married to a PIMI.
