It was never said that armageddon would happen in the fall of 1975.
There was no flip flop over the cross or the worship of Jesus.
AS EArnest said, it was stated that 1975 was the end of 6000 years of human history. Would the end happen then? It might, it could. But they didn't say.

A Site About the Governing Body
by Anna Marina inthis site puts the spotlight on gb's teachings, actions and policies.. the governing body of jehovah's witnesses - putting a spotlight on their teachings, actions, and policies.
the latest article examines the reasons why it is not scriptural to apply the two witness rule to child sexual abuse cases.. the “two witness rule”, is it scriptural to apply it to child sexual abuse cases?

Enough about this two-witness rule. It is so over played.

What JWs don't know they believe
by StephaneLaliberte inin a post this morning, i suggested that a way to wake up fellow congregants is to plainly comment or make talks on teachings and rules the jws don't really know too well.
the idea is that you can say these things, other jws will be bothered by the comments, but will not be able to do anything about it as this is the official teaching or stand on this or that.
the key here is that when troubling rules and teachings are thought in the watchtower, they generally use wording that makes them go down easy.

How does that wake up anyone? Nothing wrong with those teachings.
Waton, spiritual Israel is not the earthly class. The earthly class is the spiritual gentiles.
Jesus is the mediator of the new covenant between Jehovah God and the anointed Christians numbering 144,000. No argument there. The rest are not part of that covenant but we benefit from it. I don't see the problem with that.

Vanderhoven7 and Sea Breaze, I don't see your point? Those verses don't have anything to do with deity of Christ.

I used to be one that was adamant in arguing against the Trinity. But as Uberwitles said and FFghost said, none of it matters.

The unfolding crisis in Afghanistan is completely Joe Biden's fault, nobody else's
by LoveUniHateExams inso, there's been a lot of talk on social media, blaming trump for the current crisis that began at the weekend.. it's a load of bullsh!t from deluded people who are desperate to blame anyone but joe biden, the idiot they voted for or at least wanted to win last november.. there is only one person, just one person, to blame: joe biden.. he has the heavy burden of making tough presidential decisions.. and after this debacle, it's reasonable to ask if he's up to making such decisions..

He should send 10,000 troops in to take the country back and eliminate the Taliban, rather than evacuating.

Don’t Trust the Courts! Splane’s Latest Anti-Apostate Talk
by StephaneLaliberte indavid splane’s talk “put up a hard fight for the faith” was that last talk presented on the saturday of the annual convention.
this talk was to largely address apostates and restated ideas and arguments often presented before.
however, this year, watchtower is spending more time in disqualifying negative findings originating from secular courts and here is the segment of interest here: .

Not only don't trust the courts but don't trust the child complainants.
This weekend I went hiking. I didn't have a shirt on and I wore tan or beige shorts. I get to the parking lot at the trailhead and a father, mother and 2 young daughters exited their vehicle. The girls exclaimed "He's naked". The parents chuckled because they could see that I wasn't and the girls were mistaken.
Now imagine if the girls made that claim and the parents didn't see me, they could have gotten my license and made a report.
Imagine all the mistaken reports made by children that accused or convicted people.

Jeffro. What I said was totally true.
"When a person was anointed with oil, the oil was put on his head and allowed to run down on his beard and onto the collar of his garments. (Ps 133:2) During the times of Biblical history, both the Hebrews and some of the non-Hebrews ceremonially anointed rulers. This constituted the confirmation of their official appointment to office. Samuel anointed Saul as king after God had designated Saul as his choice. (1Sa 10:1) David was anointed as king on three different occasions: once by Samuel, later by the men of Judah, and finally by all the tribes. (1Sa 16:13; 2Sa 2:4; 5:3) Aaron was anointed after his appointment to the office of high priest."
That was the type. The antitype became, rather than oil, the holy spirit was the anointing substance. Jesus was anointed by holy spirit to be king and priest. Then the 144,000 were anointed by holy spirit. All have been chosen a generation ago. (a generation is about 20-30 years)

The King of the North and the South, who are they now?
by Anony Mous ini know several wit-lesses that to date are researching these topics.. however i haven't heard much from any publications recently about it, i think the latest refresh was ~10 years ago.
since then the power of the us has severely diminished (or at least the rhetorics about it has), russia is a small potato in modern era, the eu is a cowardly dog in the eyes of everyone and we have the rise of china which is as far as military might is concerned, a paper tiger.. we also have the rise of islam, especially since the end of the nato nation-building effort in afghanistan which is now in power in most of the middle east and africa, as well as regions of asia and growing strong in europe.. does anyone have noooo light about these developments.
is islam the king of the south?

It is the same as it has been since the 1950s. Nothing has changed. Russia and USA.
