Shaving everyday is just part of basic hygiene like brushing one's teeth and putting on deodorant.
Wearing beards are just a sign of the laziness and rebelliousness of the people today.
the july 2025 watchtower has a paragraph that claims that it was the superior power and wisdom of jehovah that guided the gb into allowing jws to grow beards.. the study article is ‘can you still learn from basic bible teachings?’ under the subheading ‘jehovah is the creator’ paragraph 7 states-.
“ 7. what did rahela do to accept a change in direction?.
your answer.
Shaving everyday is just part of basic hygiene like brushing one's teeth and putting on deodorant.
Wearing beards are just a sign of the laziness and rebelliousness of the people today.
alot of my witness friends were excited sisters can now wear pants and you can say hi to disfellowshiped folks but what about important stuff child molesters in the congregation you need 2 witnesses blood fractions are fine but not whole blood????
607 bce is from the 1880s wrong....anything else?
You all are so mistaken.
What does celebrating wedding anniversaries and having baby showers have to do with celebrating birthdays? Wedding anniversaries are to celebrate an accomplishment as what celebrations are for. Celebrating the anniversary of one's birth is not an accomplishment. Especially for children.
It is just an excuse to have a party. And a foolish excuse when people spend hundreds of dollars on it.
"The ‘gentle times’ was a period of 42 months during which the ‘holy city’ was ‘trampled’"
No, that is not the gentile times. You didn't consider that Nathan told David that his offspring would sit on Jehovah's throne forever. But that ended when Jehoiakim lost that sovereignty. To not have that prophesy fail, Jehovah paused that for 2520 years. The Gentile times is from when it was paused until it stopped and Jesus became king because he didn't become king when he was on earth. It's that simple.
There is nothing to apologize for.
the following is from the latest study watchtower july 2025, study article 28, paragraph 17:.
each christian must make up his or her own mind about whether to accept or to reject these fractions.
we may find it a challenge to understand this matter fully, but making decisions like this is part of the load that each of us must carry.
"How will it look if they finally say that they were wrong about transfusions? It has literally been a life and death issue for decades now, and the backlash would probably go mainstream. And I would imagine that at least a few people would sue them, which would definitely get them more attention of the type they do not want. The blood issue is a minefield for them."
Exactly. If they can figure how to remove the no blood issue without this happening, then it will be gone.
So the problem is the critics preventing them to do that, not the GB itself.

"They haven't retracted a damned thing! The blood doctrine as it was a quarter of a century ago is still firmly in place. All fractions, no parts, no whole blood"
You and they are missing something here. If transfusions are against God's law, what is the punishment for violating it? Has anyone who had a transfusion gotten leopresy? struck by lightning? Had the ground open and swallow them? Not that I've heard.
So there is no punishment. Those ones live and they die and are in hell/hades/sheol/grave like everyone else who has died. They will be resurrected just like everyone else will.
The living worry about the resurrection but the dead don't.
yeah so got invited this year and just thought what a waste of my time no one partakes in the wine or bread the talk has been the same for 20 years i would rather stay home.
"the Bible clearly instructs to do this ‘whenever’ two or more followers of Christ come together for worship. If you are a Christian, you should partake whenever you worship in a group."
No, Jesus did not instruct us to come together and do the bread and wine. He told the 11 apostles to keep doing that in remembrance of him. Because that is all that they had. Memories of him. They did not have the 4 biographies of jesus.
We on the other hand do not have memories of Jesus, but we have 4 biographies of him. So in remembrance of him, we don't do the bread and wine; we reread the 4 biographies of him.
The anointed don't go to heaven. Since it is post Jesus being king, as 1 Thess 4 says, when they die, they instantly get raised to heaven. Going to heaven is not the best thing possible. It is a job, not a resort.
They are kings and priests with Jesus.
What evidence is there that Jesus chose them then or any time since?
When are they going to fix what they have wrong?
alot of my witness friends were excited sisters can now wear pants and you can say hi to disfellowshiped folks but what about important stuff child molesters in the congregation you need 2 witnesses blood fractions are fine but not whole blood????

Sisters could always wear pants. The problem was that the Bible says that men should dress as men and women as women. They lowered their standards by allowing beards too to keep more people in.
JWs wear beards but that shows they don't care about hygiene.
It is necessary to have two witnesses to confirm an accusation as that is part of justice.
Whole blood is not prohibited by God for medical use.
607 is when the Gentile times began though Jerusalem was destroyed in 587.
JWs are not an organized religion. The congregation structure is organized.
I don't get why people and children want to celebrate birthdays.
Why do people keep talking about 1919? The only thing that happened in 1919 was that big assembly in cedar point. Advertise, advertise advertise the king and his kingdom.
That set the preaching work.
Jesus chose them because of that. He didn't judge based on correct doctrine on everything or whether they celebrated Christmas at that time. He knew they would fix what was wrong.
i recently realized something interesting about jw theology and thought i'd share it with the rest of the class: as most of us know, a distictive facet of watchtower/jw theology is the concept that the 144,000 in revelation chapters 7 and 14 is a literal number.
thus, the witnesses believe that exactly 144,000 humans will be resurrected to heaven to rule with jesus christ, while the rest of the witnesses will populate a restored paradise earth.. they also teach that the 24 elders in revelation represent the 144,000 kings and priests in heaven.
so, when rev.
"what's the WTS going to say about this scripture when the number or partakers at the Memorial reaches 144,000?"
The number of partakers are a few or a handful.
The ones at the memorial eating and drinking are posers. They pose as anointed because they think that they are or want to be. That is not how it works.
Since 1995 the number means nothing.
"The 144,000 are all men....no womenses"
No. The 144,000 are not all men.
It says they are virgins because they have not been defiled with women. But is sex with women something that defiles one? God created sex so it can't be a bad thing in itself.
The High priest could only marry a virgin. Jesus as the high priest could only have a bridge that is a virgin. But not in the physical sense, but in the spiritual sense.
