My sister is having to deal with a JC and I saw a letter some time back threatening legal action and thought it might come in handy. Does anyone know where I can find a copy of that letter.

My sister got a letter today from the local elders today. They gave the letter to my dad and asked him to give it to her. She read the letter to me and basically it said that there were some accusations that needed to be addressed. They wanted to meet with her tomorrow night after the meeting.

I told her to call one of the elders and put me on 3-way. That was so cooooool! We woke him up at 11:00 PM. She told him that there was no way she could make the meeting tomorrow night since she lives 4 hrs away. She then asked if he could tell her the nature of the accusations. He said yes but that he would have to switch phones. (Can't talk elder talk on a cordless rule) He told her that someone had said that she was a dancer and someone else told them that she was living with a guy. Both are true, by the way. She then asked him to tell her who had brought forth these accusations and to our suprise the told her. Then she told him that when she met with them she would have me with her. He said: " Well I can't say that he can or cannot come." Hmmmmm Probably meant that I can be there as a character witness but then I would have to leave. He then asked why she wanted me to be there.

I spoke up and said that I was involved because of the way they had handled the situation so far. In the past they would call her at 7:00 and leave a message telling her that they wanted to meet her at 7:30. I even called the elder myself and told him that he needed to give more notice. Anyway I also told him that someone on their body of elders had told my dad about the accusations several months ago. My dad is still very much a Dub.

I asked him how long one had to be away from the meetings before they were no longer considered a JW. He said that I was getting into technicalities. I said it wasn't a technicality but that it very much applied in her case since she hasn't been to a meeting in over 2 yrs. She doesn't associate with other witnesses and she doesn't consider herself a JW. He then said that she should DA herself. I explained that DAing oneself is an even more important decision than getting babtized and that she doesn't want to do that right now. She does want to move on with her life right now though. He said that he would talk to the other elders and find the answer to that question. I asked him if he could schedule the phone call with the answer and we did.

There was so much more. I don't have time right now for all the details and you guys are probably tired of reading right now but this was so much fun even though it's very important since we don't want our parents to have to shun us. If anyone can find that letter I would greatly appreciate it.

why would i want such a thing:.

i am lonely, and i know that most of the women who are jw's are concerned with them selves they want rich men with flashy clothes.. women who want prestige in the congregation saying look i got an elder for a husband see how he is taking the lead in my family in all things and giving talks at the assembles, i show him respect as man only because he has earned it in the fashion of a bride price.. thus the above relates to me to the extent my ex-wife got me to believe in all this negative crap, that i as a man was unworthy of god and my fellow members if i don't size up to all the religious do's and don'ts.. depression oh yeah i am that just like toy's r. us, traumatic brain injury then my a wonderful wife in good standing in the holy witness congregation of twenty-one years, dumps my sorry ass saying gee you have changed too much.

like duh, you have large portion of your brain stabbed and gouged from skull fragments and see if it does not confuse you or contribute to depressing you dear, of course no response she just goes and marries a known child molester of the congregation who then attempts it on my twelve year old daughter.. oh there's is much more so crazy you would think i was making it up, but who gives a flying crap, huh.. ~shane

I know there are clinical reasons for depression but there are things you can do for yourself too.

Our society shows us that people become famous and accomplish great things at an early age. Almost all famous people are young. It's easy to buy into that and think that you have wasted your youth and it's all downhill from here. Wrong!! When you think about the greatest people in your life most likely you'll think of someone older than yourself. Do you know everything that happened to them or that they did to others when they were younger? Probably not. Keep in mind that the feelings you have now can help someone else. Someone who can help someone else. Keep in mind that you have a unique perspective that most "successful" people don't. You have the ability to reach people and help them that even the best psycologist doesn't.

All of you who may be suffering from depression or feelings of worthlessness.....Stick around....we really do need you.

My ideas on taking over the WTS. I think a disfellowshipped person would have to sue use the courts and sue to become a Jehovahs witness or an employee of the corporation on the basis of some kind of discrimnation. With the precedence few would be disfellowshipped and the Borg would lose control.

Just my latest theory.

Aren't there afidavits that they have to sign as officers of the corporation where they have to swear to certain facts. The Theocratic War Strategy would conflict with something there, I would think.

You find that hard to believe, do you? Well it's true! Do I have proof??? Well I know it's true and that's all that matters.

I asked him why he needed my body.....He told me that he couldn't experience a lifetime here on earth without performing so many miracles that it would be too easy for everyone to have faith. I said "That makes sense to me. What do you want to experience J?" He told me that he had missed a few things while on the earth the last time and he wanted to see what the big deal was. Everyone keeps talking about Sex Drugs and Rock and Roll so he wanted to experience it through the person who understood those things the best. Well, my modesty came out and I said: " Really JC I must tell you that there are lots of people who understand drugs better than I do and I'm sure that there are many who have a better understanding and appreciation of Rock N Roll" ........short pause......"Ohhhhhhhhhh Ok I See. I'm married to Xena. Nooooow it's starting to make sense."
