  Austin Texas is my current home. Did you see that map. Texas is a big state but it still isn't large enough to hold the names of all the ex's in Texas. Hey! That reminds me of that George Strait song: "All my EX's Live in Texas".

  I still consider myself a hillbilly from Deer, Arkansas. Population 40. I dare you to find that on a map. We had out houses at the kingdom hall until ' 73.

  It turns out that it was appropriate. They were trying to create a society of people seperate from the rest of the world. Scary when you think about it.

  No windows-really

  i keep reading about kingdom halls having no windows.

  is this just an american thing coz i've been in plenty and never been widowless yet?

  I will say that when I was in a hall that didn't have windows I got the feeling that we were cut off from the world. Isolated. Now that I look back on it maybe that's the impression they wanted us all to get. Maybe they wanted us to feel seperated. Hmmmmmmmmmm

  Annoying double standard...

  i've watched a little bit of mtv lately and it's been absolutely bugging the crap out of me as i watch these inane music videos: men can be physically unattractive but still talented musically and get recognition, not the same for women!

  they have to be perfect looking in every way on top of being able to at least carry a tune.

  i'm sick of watching beyonce writhe and christina strut around half naked.

  What they may lack in pure talent, they make up for in their ability to entertain. If you'd rather sit in a quiet stuffy conservatory and listen to pure vocal virtuosos, feel free. I think the majority of men and women in this world would rather see Britney strip and shake while singing Ooops I did it again. That should be evident by her sales.

  By the way it's not the men who are buying Britney's records. The music industry is now a visual business. I don't know any woman who likes to watch Alanis Morissette sing. Hear? Yes. See? No.

  Yes I do think men are enslaved to women. The thing is....Women haven't figured it out yet. They're to busy worrying about whether they're looking old or if their ass looks big. So it all comes out right in the end.

  i saw my uncle sell their house..... only later to feel and look like idiots.

  i remember all the buzz about the end coming around my own house.

  since i was a naturally inqusitive child (the question why is not good for theocratic advancement) i was made to feel stupid for questioning, even at 7 and 8 years old.
