Just curious, what have some of you done with your exspensive book bags?
by Singing Man ini use my book bag to store my computer soft ware in its perfect for that.
and as for all the old issues of magazines i used them to start my wood stove on those cold mornings.
one time i asked for a lot of older issues from the friends so i could use them to line the bottom of my camp tent, they were more than happy to give them to me.

The other two that I used for service are setting in the Butler County Landfill. I believe they are next to all of my Watchtower placements.

i am inactive but not exactly a non jw yet.
i am a conservative person and still believe that some of the teachings of jws are good though i do not agree with everything that's for sure!

"Out of the mist" is very appropriate. You have come to the right place. These people will help you feel like you are still part of something. You'll find more support here than you ever did in the kingdom hall. My suggestion to you at this point is to keep doing research. You have spent years being trained not to question, to believe everything you're told. You'd be suprised how many don't quite let go. Keep asking yourself questions. Even questions that you think you already know the answer to. You've already tasted the freedom. It just gets better.

My niece is OUT!!!!!! yeah!!!!!
by Tatiana insome of you don't know, but for the last two years, i've been trying to get my niece out of the clutches of the society.
it's been a long road.
since my sister died, my mother has been using a huge guilt trip on my niece.

After 22 years I've found my brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by tyydyy inmy brother went to bethel as a teenager and was disfellowshipped and sent home.
he tried to toe the line and after 6 months the local congregation recommended reinstatement.
bethel didn't like that idea.

Just got a call from Don and he said that he couldn't wait til next summer. He's coming here in 2 weeks!!!!!!! We're going to have an EX JW family reunion! It just keeps getting better. I hope you all know how much I wish you could have the kind of joy that I'm having right now. I guess that's why I'm posting it here. I want to share some of this with you.

I don't know what impression I've made on here but I'd like to think that I'm thought of as intelligent, open minded and sensitive but sometimes an ignorarant, hard headed asshole.
I have definitely made an impression while posting here.......An impression in my chair that's shaped exactly like my BUTT!!!!!!

Another update:
We've spent several hours talking this weekend. Don has talked to our sister (Brooke) and our brother (Rodney). He told me today: "You just have no idea how much I missed you guys" I said .........."Oh......I think I do" He has no record of his life before 20. No family pictures or personal items. We've all been getting pictures together and emailing them to him. I just saw pictures of Don, his wife and his 3 sons tonight. The more we talked about old times the more we realized what we were missing. Age has taken it's toll on all of us and yet the connection is still there. The beauty is.............I believe it's there to stay. It's the first time I remember the two of us telling each other ...I love you.
You see, Don and I are not blood brothers. He was adopted at age 2, just a few months after I was born. Yet our connection is based on love and understanding. Uncondtional love that comes with getting to know someone well and believing that they are there for you just as much as you are there for them without having to say so. Understanding the thoughts of each other because we share a common background and know where we are going. We are all grateful for the chance to be a family again.
