Im sorry but your reasoning has a flaw... The flaw being the 15 min part on next weeks service meeting that uses a new video to explain 1914. They are all in on It still

GB Doesnt Believe in 1914 Anymore My reasoning
by thedepressedsoul ini have heard a lot of talk over the last year or so if the gb will eventually ditch 1914 and some have even made the claim that most, if not all of the gb do not believe in 1914. ive given this some thought and in the past i wasnt sure.
this annual meeting puts 100%, without a doubt in my mind that the gb do not believe in 1914. id even go as far to say that they talked about that date and have a game plan in mind.. here is why i feel this way:.
there were a lot of changes with the parables at this annual meeting.

@caleb- theres a strong level of assumption in what you say. I said that everyday as a dubbie, but never once gave thought to the goolish aspect of going through dead peoples belongings. I wanted the world to be a panda petting paradise and trusted the desert god to judge people in righteousness.

Hmmmmm...... So, hamster, does that mean that you were evil when you were a dubbie....? At what point did you stop being evil....? At what point did nazi's stop being evil, if ever? Is there any possiblity that a current dubbie could stop being evil? If so, when?

The more people who leave the Witnesses, the more people will leave. True?
by ThomasCovenant inif more faders stopped fading and just stopped,.
would more of the many closet unbelieving attendees just stop too, creating a momentum?.

Its a good question and my personal is view is "yes". And "no".
it would help and encourage perhaps a few to see someone leave because they realized it was BS.... but in the minds of many others it would only serve to reinforce the BS. It happened to me. I saw a few 'wake up' over the years. It didnt help me. I just wasnt in a place where i would benefit from seeing it.

Why doesn't the GB make field service optional for certain congregation members only similar to the Mormons?
by yadda yadda 2 inephesians 4:11 makes for a strong case that not every member of the congregation should have to go door-to-door.. "so christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers,..".
this shows that different members of the first century congregations served different ministerial functions.
so why don't the jw's say that field service is no longer compulsory for all congregation members, only for those who feel a calling for it per eph 4:11..... the mormons sort of do this with their young men and women 'elders' doing 2 years voluntary, genuinely full-time service (these mormons boys put in some big hours 6 days a week and have their meals provided for them, etc!

Jehovah's Witnesses Respond To Ebola - What do you think?
by toweragent inhttp://www.jw.org/en/news/releases/by-region/world/jehovahs-witnesses-respond-2014-ebola-outbreak/.
i usually find most of what they post on the news or updates section of the website repulsive or even nauseating.
but i really thought this was nice of them to finally be proactive in something like this.. the article even mentions helping non-witnesses as well.

Its interesting that the article said the government requested the organizations help. It didnt say they gave it. Also did you note the title of the talk given around country...? "Obediance saves lives". How much of that talk was about ebola and how much was about obediance to the org IN ALL THINGS, ebola or not?
