Angst and the Jehovah's Witness Mindset

there is no typical jw personality type.. any of us who were in the religion for a number of years will remember all sorts of individuals.

there is as much variety among jws as there is in the general population.

some were arrogant and judgemental but others were humble and kindly.

Perhaps it's the prevalence of angst that explains why so many JW's suffer from anxiety-related ailments: depression, bipolarity, fibromyalgia, etc

Does that proposition mean that "god" moves in time faster than anything else? And if time is a dimension, can he move back in time just as we can move up/down, left/right, back/forth ?

Excellent Conversation At Literature Trolley

yesterday my wife and i enjoyed one of our regular days out at edinburgh - movie, lunch, walk, meal etc.. in the late afternoon while mrs cofty went shopping i had an hour at the excellent museum of scotland and arranged to meet up outside the national gallery on princes street.

on my way back i saw the jw trolley was at the usual spot on the royal mile.

there was an older man and a young woman standing well back trying hard to look inconspicuous.

You are confusing "theory" with guesswork, speculation, conjecture, or hypothesis. Not so.

morgan freeman asks questions on faith., national geographic channel.. while posting this two sisters came to my door and encouraging me to come back things have changed.

since 1975 , and then they said "you should come back to jehovah be fore it's to late we made mistakes.

I watched it. It was interesting and well written, and I love Morgan Freeman; but for the time being, a bit shallow. I hope it digs deeper in the next few episodes.
