What are the best questions?

what would you say are the best questions to ask a jw which they will not be able to answer and may make them question their beliefs?.

what (if you are a former jw) made you question the "truth"?.

Revelation 9:12 The one woe is past. Look! Two more woes are coming after these things.

Revelation 9:13 And the sixth angel blew his trumpet.

Revelation 11:14 The second woe is past. Look! The third woe is coming quickly.

Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel blew his trumpet.

In regards to Revelation 8:13, would it be correct to conclude that by that time frame, trumpets 1- 4 had already blown and that the 3 woes mentioned were in reference to the 3 remaining trumpets that were yet to blow, namely trumpets 5, 6, & 7???

In regards to Revelation 9:12, would it be correct to conclude that by that time frame, the 1 st woe that had past was in reference to the 5 th trumpet, and that the 2 woes that were still yet to come were in reference trumpets 6 &7???

In regards to Revelation 11:14, would it be correct to conclude that by that time frame, the 2 nd woe that had past was in reference to the 6 th trumpet and that the 3 rd woe that was still yet to come (“coming quickly”) was referring to trumpet 7???

Would it be correct to conclude that according to what is written in the bible, the 7 trumpets are blown in chronological order???

In regards to any trumpets that are believed to have already had blown (according to the WTS), can you tell me the year that corresponds to each said trumpet haven blown???

It’s amazing what ones will take away from what they read…I didn’t say that was my first post…I asked if they saw my first post. I posted about 607-587.

And really no one should be replying except those that have a say so in AAWA. My point is not that I don’t think they should speak up and expose the falsehoods…I am just saying that it is in the way you go about doing it, is what matters.

I want the facts to come out as much as anybody…but if you speak in a certain way and look in a certain way and act in a certain way, you will be sure to turn away many before you can even get your message heard.

If you want to wake up the JW’s and expose the GB’s lies, then the manner that it is to be done is critical.

Many may know who Robert King is…I will go on record to say that I agree with much that he says…but even he has gone about it wrong and got to big on himself.

And who are you and the ones that are still at the halls that say you can’t leave because of friends and family? If the people that you claim to stay in for, will stop talking to you if you leave, speak up, etc… then why would you want that same person in your life any way. But now I am off topic…My point is to ask a series of questions to the GB while supplying excerpts by them at the same time when doing so…and all the focus should be is on getting them to answer the questions. Their own answers will be the end of them…………

Anyway…I see by the foolish comments that I am wasting my time……

do you not understand that i am saying that those books apply to Jehovah's people, so yes i know they are the "stupid prophets"!!! do you not think that i know of the falsehoods that the GB teach??? but what has Jehovah said in regards to?

Ok…fine, let’s through the bible out…there it’s gone. Are you watching the news? Are you aware of what is taking place? Do you know that WW3 is looming and that it is all really staged in order to make way for the UN to come in and take control finally as the one world government?

Yes, the MANY things you say against the WTS/GB are correct, but you fell to understand that this is all foretold and allowed to happen by Jehovah.

i am trying to introduce critical thinking into my family study without obviously upsetting the status quo.

IP1 p.253 21 Isaiah goes on to prophesy: “It must occur in that day that Tyre must be forgotten seventy years, the same as the days of one king.” (Isaiah 23:15a) Following the destruction of the mainland city by the Babylonians, the island-city of Tyre will “be forgotten.” True to the prophecy, for the duration of “one king”—the Babylonian Empire—the island-city of Tyre will not be an important financial power. Jehovah, through Jeremiah, includes Tyre among the nations that will be singled out to drink the wine of His rage. He says: “These nations will have to serve the king of Babylon seventy years.” (Jeremiah 25:8-17, 22, 27) True, the island-city of Tyre is not subject to Babylon for a full 70 years, since the Babylonian Empire falls in 539 B.C.E. Evidently, the 70 years represents the period of Babylonia’s greatest domination—when the Babylonian royal dynasty boasts of having lifted its throne even above “the stars of God.” (Isaiah 14:13) Different nations come under that domination at different times. But at the end of 70 years, that domination will crumble.

Q: When did Jehovah say he was going to call to account the king of Babylon and that nation?

A: When 70 years had been fulfilled.

Q: What year did Jehovah call to account the king of Babylon and that nation?

A: In 539 Jehovah called to account the king of Babylon and that nation by executing his judment upon them by having them overthrown by the Medes and the Persians.

Q: If Jehovah called to account Babylon in 539 because that was the time that the 70 years were fulfilled, then when did the 70 begin?

A: 539 + 70 = 609

In 1914 the prophetic words of Revelation 11:15 were fulfilled:(omitted) “The kingdom of the world did become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will rule as king forever and ever.”

Here is the context of the trumpets being blown in Rev:

According to the 3 woes (trumpets 5, 6, & 7), they all take place AFTER trumpets 1-4 blow, but also before the last two woes (trumpets 6&7) take place, each previous woe is said to have past first, so there is no question that the 7 th trumpet (3 rd woe) blows AFTER trumpets 1-6 have blown first.

Using the 11-1-02 WT as a reference point, taking the omitted part of the verse, which is when the 7th angel blows his trumpet (3 rd woe), the WT states this occurred in 1914.

Now consider:

11-1-93 WT The book of Revelation prophesies what happened next. After a short period of inactivity—foretold as three and a half days of lying dead in the street—the anointed remnant became alive and active again. (Revelation 11:11-13) On March 26, 1919, the president and the directors of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society were released, and they were later totally exonerated of the false charges against them. Immediately after their release, the anointed remnant began to reorganize for further activity. Thus, in fulfillment of the first woe (5 th trumpet)of Revelation, they came out of the abyss of inactivity like spiritual locusts accompanied by thick smoke, portending a dark future for false religion. (Revelation 9:1-11) During the next few years, they were spiritually nourished and prepared for what lay ahead. In 1921 they published a new book, TheHarpofGod, designed to help new ones and children learn basic Bible truths. (Revelation 12:6, 14) All these things happened during another landmark time period.

What happened then?

What was more, the second woe (6 th trumpet)of Revelation began.A mass of Christian cavalry—composed initially of the anointed remnant and later swelled by the great crowd—surged through the earth. Now if it is true that the 7 th trumpet blew in 1914, then trumpets 1-6 had to blow before that year. If it is true that the 5 th trumpet blew in 1919 and the 6 th blew in 1922, then trumpets 1-4 had to blow before 1919 and trumpet 7 has to blow after 1922.
