Regarding the letter about reading paragraphs, I'm not sure if that's legit mainly due to the date: 14th May 2017, which is a Sunday and nobody in the committees in Bethel works on a Sunday. I could be wrong of course but we haven't had that letter yet in Spain.

Last song at Regional Convention of 2016 was stolen from Audiomachine
by LevelThePlayingField inas far as i know, i did a search, and you may not know this but, the last song play during a music video of the regional convention, was not of watchtower.
it's stolen from a group called audiomachine off their album epica.
the song is called eternal flame and it is exactly and i mean, note for note the same as the music video.

Come on guys, get your facts straight. They bought it.
Actually I bought it myself for around €3 (it was in dollars). Pretty good music too. I'm always up for supporting Indie music.

How many in your generation are still JW???
by Christian Gutierrez inhow many in your age group are still jehovahs witnesses?
from where we are at, there aren't many left.
each year it gets smaller and smaller haha .

You used the magic word "generation". Given that this now means overlapping generations of any age then around 8 million who are obviously never going to die! (Said with the sarcasm on the highest setting)

Are congregations in Spain suffering an increase in banking fees since Watchtower 'seized' their bank savings?
by jwleaks inremember a few years ago watchtower literally 'siezed' all individual congregation bank savings around the world above what was needed to cover basic kingdom hall monthly expenses?
a new march 30, 2017, boe letter has just gone out to congregations in spain, which, more or less, explains that congregations bank account funds no longer entitle congregations to reduced banking fees.
(see copy of actual paragraph below.).

The banks in this country are a joke. They do indeed charge you for almost everything unless you jump through a series of hoops. If you draw money out of the hole-in-the-wall (ATM for you Americans) that doesn't belong to your bank, then you are charged anywhere from 1€ to 5€. Unicaja is one of the worst and they charge you for transfers even when you do them yourself via Internet!
The letter is legit as I sent it to Wifibandit. He's got the attached commissions sheet too.

Popular and hugely expensive! They are not even able to personalise them: you have to buy one you like that already exists. The Americans have the right idea about letting you personalise them for a reasonable price.
Has the law changed now? I'd heard rumours that you could only swap number plates if you owned the original car that the plates were registered to and it had to be roadworthy too.

July's watchtower leaves out some important info from a quote!
by stavro injerome over on discuss the truth has picked up on something interesting.. in the july watchtower on page 28 of the article entitled “winning the battle for your mind” the following statement is made “keep in mind that satan does not want you to think clearly or reason things out well.
because propaganda is likely to be most effective, says one source, if people… are discouraged from thinking critically.”.
the quote comes from a book entitled: “media and society in the twentieth century: a historical introduction by lyn gorman, david mclean" the watchtower however, chose to leave out a portion of the quote.. the full quote is "therefore, it is likely to be most effective if people do not have access to multiple sources of information and if they are discouraged from thinking critically.. the following sentence which the watchtower also decided was best not to include states,.
