  My wife just told me to move out...

  because of "religious" differences, she now wants me to move out and "separate"...i said what biblical grounds does she have for her request?.

  she couldnt respond...she said she'd rather be beaten up by me than have an "apostate" in the house.... this org definitely encourages conditional love.... i don't know what to do...by the way, we dont have children.

  we both contribute for expenses, although I make more than she does...money is not an issue...

  I really love my wife, and to be honest I think I may have pushed TTATT too much...

  Thanks for the advise on giving her space...I'm totally new at this whole TTATT which I firmly believe...she's a born in, and she is SO loyal to the ORG like you can't imagine...

  I tried to read the Bible with her last night, and she said she doesnt want me to read the Bible with her...all I was trying to do is read Jesus's teachings...

  anyway, I'm not giving up on my marriage...this is going to be a looong process

  Why do Jw's have to pay for CO's expenses?

  this is something that has always bothered me!.

  why do rank and file have to pay for co's do's expenses, car, health insurance, meals, etc, etc...?.

  didn't the apostle paul say that all christians have to be self sufficient and work?, not depending on anyone else and cause a burden?.

  my problem is not the giving out of the heart...it's the CONCEPT of saying you're doing full time service and "expecting" others to pay your expenses...all CO's, DO's, even these GB individuals should be able to support themselves...

  obviously they could care less about what the Bible says on self sufficiency

  I didn't know that we paid for the CO?

  umm...how do they eat, put gas, pay for clothing, health insurance etc..?...it's all of the JW's donations lol

  Why would anyone ask me to give a substitute talk

  so last night we had the theocratic school.

  i recently stepped aside from being an elder and i have been mentally gone for awhile now.. no one has talked to me or my wife and kids and i have been very brief with everyone.

  hwever, out of the blue lastnight during the theocratic school the school overseers assistant came to me during the bible reading and asked me if i could give a last minute substitute talk.... .

  birthdays and baby showers

  my dad is turning a milestone number this month and decided he needed to celebrate a bit so the wife and i are putting together a birthday party for him.

  two of my siblings are jws and 1 is not; nor is dad.

  invited everyone to the celebration and of course got the "we don't celebrate birthdays" rsvp.

  that is I believe one of the biggest hypocrisies ever!....

  they celebrated graduation parties to HONOR the person....taking them gifts etc...

  they use wedding rings and a white dress for the bride...and both are pagan!

  they say don't smoke because cigarrettes have nicotin, a drug that is "addictive"...but they don't know that Big Macs, Sodas and any other processed food has Aspertame which has also been proven to be an addictive substance...yet they turn a blind eye...

  religion overall is a huge hypocrisy!!!
