Well so far it is a fantastic day! I know my grandma isn't going to call me like she does every year to say she is happy I was born. You know the JW form of wishing someone a happy birthday. But a good friend of mine who I guess I have adopted as my grandma, she is a little younger than my grandma, she sent me a card this morning and said almost exactly what my grandma used to tell me. Of course that made me cry.

For the first time in my life I don't feel bad on my birthday. I would always love getting the happy birthday comments, but as a "good" JW I would always say "thank you, but I'm one of JW's and I don't celebrate" I hated that!!!!!!! Now I can proudly say thank you to my friends who care for me and don't have to give a GD witness!

today i went on my instragram and realized that one of the jw "friends" i have on there didn't have any or her wt propaganda, and propaganda i mean pictures of her and all the children (under 10) she is studying with and helping to bring in the truth.

so i looked to see if she was still "following me" nope, so i looked to see if i was still "following her" nope, which means she blocked.

so then i go on to my jw facebook and she is no longer friends with me..... so now i know what you are thinking, she has blocked and unfrieded me because she saw my apostate video...or word finally reached her.....nope!

Mouth drooling Satanist right here, that's me. Now the truely interesting part is this "sister" who unfriended me, Heather....we had a mutal friend Melissa who lives in the next town over. I haven't talked to her in almost a year, I just got a text from Melissa this morning asking if I wanted to go swimming with her today, when I told her no I can't today she says "bummer, another time. what time is your Sunday meeting? maybe we could have you guys over for lunch/dinner sometime" Keep in mind, I haven't talked to her for almost a year.

I posted a picture of my husband's haircut (buzz-cut) but he has a goatee now. She unfriended and blocked me because of my husband's goatee and/or because he has a buzz now.

I'm laughing hysterically because of this and how the JW mind works.

Update: It's been 16 days since my video came out and no fallout yet. So I guess my x-friends and elders are being good little Christians and not coming on these evil apostate websites....

I actually thought I would have had a call or visit by now. Maybe they are not after me.

i'm so happy to have been able to sleep in yesterday and this morning!

no fs and sunday meeting!

every weekend i feel a huge relief and both hubby and i always look at each other and say "it's great not having to go to meeting huh?".

So true whathappened, so true. I used to have terrible anger issues and stressed out all the time, also feeling tired down to my core. Funny thing is, now I have none of those things and the only thing that has changed is I'm no longer a JW.

hello ,i am a jw,been in the "truth " for about 6 years.i have to be very careful because i know the witnesses monitors sites and report to the elders ,i know cause that is what my blood sister does,she spends hours trying to find apostates in the closet.i know stuped.. so this is my situation.i have known about jw almost all my life and heard that only them have the truth,lots of my family are in it.i was the one taking too long to baptize ,i knew it was expected from me.and i always had a need to make ppl like me .so i took the dip.i started to notice that there are lots of jws that belong to little groups.i wanted friendship so bad and at the time had a need o tell ppl about my horrible childhood traumas i guess i was not over it yet,and needed some to lisent since i had drove my spouse nuts already .what happend this ppl pretend to want to be close to me so they can know all my business and then tell everyone at the hall.then you realize uhhh,they never confided their personal stuff to me.is like a game " you can tell me your stuff,but do not expect me to keep it to myself and do not think i will tell you my dirty laundry.a lot of mind games.. so i was alone ,invisible ,i still can't believe i put up with so much !

i can't wright not even half of what i when through.i feel paranoic now.so i came across a youtube video by jwstruggle and blow my mind ,now i can't stop researching,my spouse is not a jw,and is very shock too.so i decided that i want to fade,i guess it won't be so hard since the sis and brothers did not had a close relationship with me.i have kids and i suffer from pts ,anxiety attacks,panick attacks and severe depression.i moved to the next town of my hall,so i have change hall too.i have not been to my new hall,and wanted to know,will the elders in my old hall contact the elders in my new hall just to see if i am attending?..

my spouse told me " i will tell them i am not letting you go" "and "i found out that your liars!

Running out of ideas, please help

ok, i hate to admit this but, im running out of ideas of things to do to the local jaydubs.

i mean yeah, knockin on their doors and showing up and taking books from the kh is fun and all, but kinda gettin stale.

my next big one is gonna be at the next memorial, where im gonna wear a big wool jacket and top hat as i chug the wine and eat the bread, then stand up and yell "praise the lord im healed!

ADCMS: Oh yea you need to watch out for the deaf they are so obsessive about "self-pleasure" they will just start doing it out in public...It is a real serious problem! NOT! Chalk that up to another WT myth/urban legend.

Okay I will try my best to answer your questions. I can think more clearly now that I'm not ranting about WT propaganda.

First off, if this video was made for deaf people there would be no music and there would be no reason to have that guy talking. I have seen some videos where there is an interpreter who is "voicing" for the deaf person. So the deaf person is signing then you hear the voice of the interpreter, if this was made for a deaf person, the camera would be on the deaf person the whole time, with the voice of the interpreter. That is why I say this video was solely made for the hearing world.

The things he is saying about "people wonder if deaf can drive, get married and raise a family"....You would not believe the stupid questions I get asked about deaf people. I still hear the comments "deaf and dumb" people sometimes ask me where I learned Braille. I even had one woman ask me how deaf people have sex...really...all the parts are the same lady. I have had hearing people ask me how deaf people drive, they are actually very good drivers and I wold rather be in a car with a deaf person driving than with some hearing people... So I do believe that part just because I get asked those same stupid questions all the time.

The thing that got me was the fact what the man was actually signing was not at all what the narrator was saying. Plus just for the fact there is "talking" tells me it's not for a deaf person. If I turned the sound off to this video I wouldn't understand it. It was like the man (narrator) talking was reading a script. For example....

In the very beginning: When the man is fingerspelling his name in ASL. the narrator says the deaf guys full name, but they cut the deaf guy off before he could finish spelling his last name.

At 1:20 the wife signing what she says is...."Your, before, now different, sweet" That is ASL of course and I don't have enough of her "sighs" to put together a proper English translation.

At 1:30 the deaf guy signs..."Second, in the morning family comes together discussions and eats" Funny, that's not really what the narrator says.

At 1:53. She signed "year and release"

At 2:16 "More happy and I noticed my family develop,increased,improved (those are all words to match the sign he used)"

At 2:22 "Read, I love to read, I enjoy, I visualize, it's like a TV screen, I can watch the action and feel....." They cut him off again to show their propaganda. Going back to him This next part is really hard to translate into English, so I personally would say "It's like I go into the TV and become part of the action (I wonder what he would do during the Whanker Brothers video...sorry I had to add that) than I come out of the TV afterwords. It's more visual than reading. It matches me, I love it. I have a stronger connection to that, I cherish"

At 2:54 "Talk sign same language, sign JW parents with sign" So what she was just saying is she can talk with people who know the same language as her parents.

3:58. So The deaf people I know, don't use facial expression that much! Not like the JW deaf. Or like whanker brother 2 who was "enjoying himself" way too much. Yes facial expression is part of ASL grammar, but not that much! That was just a psycho kid.

I hope this all helps. If there are anymore questions please feel free to ask. I will try my best to answer. This whole video just reeked of WTBT$ propaganda. I honestly just think everyone was reading a script. I know for a fact the narrator was not a deaf person...The biggest thing is the vocabulary the narrator was using is the cult language....in ASL some of those are not signs/words.
