my parents both being jw's in fact my dad being po, will have limited contact with us.

Why would you want to go back? Just to be in "good standing" with who???? Do you actually care to be in good standing with them? In order to be in good standing again you would have to put up with their (bs) for a good while. Once you get reinstated and you do decide to leave again, they will probably just DF you anyways. Remember, they don't care who they hurt.
Why put your life and your daughter's in their hands?

i'm getting ready for the book study.
the only reason i'm even going is because i've got several friends i don't want to break ties with yet.
they are counting on me to help them stay strong in the "truth".

I felt just like you a year ago. It was so bad that I came to a point that I once silently cried during several of the meetings. I too felt that I had to stay for several people but I finally realized that I had to take the risk of leaving for my own sake.
I have not been attending meetings for almost a year now and none of those people have even bothered to call.
I slowly started realizing that this cult is not from God.
Analyze everything you have learned. Everything you have seen.
Now ask yourself the same question. Do you think the Jehovah's Witnesses are really God's organization as they claim to be?

what things should i do during april?.
a) doing 70+ hours in field service?.
Why do you want them to give you that title?
I have been out of there almost a year now and nobody has bothered to call or visit. More or likely if you just leave nobody will even bother to worry about you. If you do something to DA of DF yourself, they will more likely to be after your ass. That means you will have to see them more often.
Just leave and live your life fully now.

i'm very sad that my parents won't talk with my sister (da'd) or my brother (df'd) even though the society's own web-site says that such actions do not sever family ties.

This is my first time at this so bare with me. I will be turning 21 tomorrow so I decided to celebrate like this. My family threw me a surprise birthday a week ago and we even had a pinata . It was great.
I was a JW all my life until this past year. Throughout my whole JW career I saw a whole lot of crap especially by elders but always excused them because I believed it was Jehovah's organization. Now I know God has nothing to do with the JW's.
I was lied to all my life. Now I don't know what to believe. What will I teach my children one day? Will I teach them about heaven or about a paradise on earth? Will I teach them about the trinity or about God and Jesus being two different individuals?
I was also lied about resurrection and that paradise would be here very soon. But I really never thought to see the day that my parents would have to pass away. What will I do when that time comes?
Leaving the JW's was one of the best decisions I have ever done, but it has also left me with a lot of questions unanswered.
I would like to hear what you all have to say about this and any advice you might have to give me.
