Hey Farkel - you use'n the King James Version now? ("Jesus wept" in Matthew something or rather)
SOB .. unclebruce, off to try and find the shortest verse in the Authorised New World Translation.
big boys don't cry!
well that's what we are told anyway!
and i guess this convention is widespread in many cultures.

LurkerNoMore - with a name like that what else can anyone expect but the type of vile mindnumbing drivell you've just spouted. I'd call you a slimey piece of **** but this is supposed to be a gentlemans board.
unclebruce who recons lurk rymes with jerk for a reason..
Thought the tragic recent events occurring in your family would nudge you to lay low for a while
What the? ... The guy has rejoined the fight against the Watchtower Machine and that's how ya welcome him? I hope he posts strong and often, the anti-cultists need all the help they can get.
This was a fairly lame, superficial post, Tallyman. Anyone who wants access to the Elder's Manual has long since perused the innocuous sentence outline publication.
Oh great post-moder-ist - perhaps you can point to something "better" by yourself. Perhaps you'd rather see discussions of Field Service presentations and the like? I enjoyed Tallys post on this and particularly the auction info. This is real stuff, going on in the real world (unlike cyberspace where jerks can ambush decent folks and runnaway without a scratch)
uncle-reaction, after taking the calm pills.
PS: Tally - I wish I knew who the aussie buyer was - I'd love a copy of the Elders manual ... triple his $ (my printouts look a bit obvious for undercover work
imho, there is no ad hominem worse, no ad hominem more denigrating, and no ad hominem more evil than the expression "get a life!".
i've used it myself in the past.
it's a quick and down-and-dirty put down.
g'day Mr Farkel,
The first time I heard the expression "get a life" was my witchy poo sister spitting at her dull JW neighbours who had nothing better to do than gossip about her between trying to tell her how to live (I thought it was very funny but alas ... as uncanny says, it has become so common I can't bring myself to use it - the kind of cheap line someone throws out without thinking. It is interesting to me that many of these 'coined' phrases are mixed up by 'crainally challenged types' who obviously don't bother thinking about what they're saying.
A stitch in time never boils the kettle black, unclebruce
PS: Uncanny - my sister lives at Grange Beach. I can put in a good word for ya if ya like.

have you noticed that the number of registered posters is slowing but surely creeping up towards the 1,000 mark?.
no doubt the word is spreading that this is a nice home to be in.. simon, congrats on providing this place for calm (usually!
) thoughtful and insightful discussion.. are there any plans to highlight the 1,000 poster?.
G'day ozziepost,
I think of you everytime I pass a postoffice or one a them big 'ozziepost' trucks go by. I'm hoping Rick will be poster number 1,000 (I know he's lurking at the windows ;)
cheers, unc.
PS: More importantly - How can we lure the Farkelmeister into chat? SirFRED and Mr.Farkel - head to head in real time - I'd pay to see that! (That or FOCUS vs BATHORY the Vampire)
when i first posted on this site, there were, i think, around 300 registered users.
now the number of registered users is about to reach 1000 in the very near future.
over on h20 the numbers have decreased, but the community owner, rick, appears to be mesmerised by the idea that it is still much bigger, and biggest is best, as this excerpt from a recent post shows:.
Please excuse the duplicate folks, the 'edit' feature doesn't like me today (can't add to the post above)
English, I think the 'live chat' feature of this board is great and must help cut the cowboys of agro off at the pass. (so you and Eduardo patched things up a tad? lol)
Simon I can't see you losing anything, this is a great site .. thanks!
Hey 'newbie wassa', behave yourself!
unclebruce ;)

G'day Englishman, wasasister,
The arrogance reminds me of when Bruce Bainbridge approached Lloyd Barry about his 'revelation' that the 144,000 were relaceing the falling Angels. Lloyds first question was "how many copies have you printed" then, when Bruce said 20,000, the guy fell about laughing (well, scoffing). I know Bruce is mad but it illustrates that, to the mindset of some, numbers are everything.
myself ... I found 'the truth' all on my own and I ain't shar'n it with anybody! uncleselfish.
